Family matters. So, we have two main characters, Raf and Max, who work as killers. And not just killers, but killers working for a woman lawyer and killing her clients for whom the woman has achieved an acquittal. It sounds crazy, but if you think about it, it works. After all, the scoundrel, no matter what he committed a terrible crime in a couple of years will be released on parole. Criminals pay for their own funerals without knowing it. And now, fulfilling another order, Raf and Max fall into a bind. The fact is that the “client” whom they must remove is in a building in which zombies are everywhere, and Raf’s son has a birthday today and he needs somewhere to get a cake, a clown and a new console for his beloved son. Yeah, business.
In fact, before the viewer there is a picture that in every possible way tries to seem disintegrating thrash. We have a couple of scumbags who cut and maim and kill anyone who comes in hand. We have alien zombies with suction cups on their bodies. And we have a lot of things that pretend to be funny. Why not crack? Well, first of all, the fact that good thrash differs from bad actors who are not just fools, but play and play well. For examples, you do not need to go far here and “Homicide Holiday” and “Grindhouse” and “Type of Cool Cops” and many other equally worthy films. Here emotions try to demonstrate only the main characters of the story, while the rest of the “actors” do not even try to play. Secondly, the hallmark of good thrashing is humor. It doesn’t matter if it makes the viewer laugh or smile. The main thing is that he is, and that he is able to raise the mood of the viewer. Here the jokes boil down to the fact that everyone knows how Raf and Max make a living and consider it normal, as well as the fact that Raf does not care about the alien invasion and he has to make it to his son for his birthday. However, they are not able to cause even a weak smile. Here you look at these attempts to cheer the viewer, and I want to ask the creators of the picture – is it worth laughing before or after the word “shovel”? Thirdly, it's probably a plot. And if in ordinary films this plot should be logical, then in films of the genre of thrash it should just be. There is no general plot here, and what I said at the beginning, I had to think up and glue myself, since the creators did not bother to do this. The picture is a torn canvas, and to understand what is happening in it is a million-dollar problem.
Summing up, I want to say that before us there is an amateur craft, which in every possible way tries to mortify under a serious movie. The plot is unfinished, the actors do not play, there is no humor, as well as budget in the film, and the camera work has a good chance to cause the viewer an attack of nausea. So my advice to you is to watch something from the products of the studio "Troma", thank you.
