Nonsense. In awe of Yoon’s latest directorial work, I watched this film for almost a week, hoping for some crumbs of “France” genius.
It turned out – nonsense in the spirit of “the best film”. Not so crappy: European aestheticism kept a low bar. We crooked, swear, mucked, shook, shook the tits, hit Adali - that's the whole movie.
It seems like a parody, but somehow it is too vital. I just want to imitate it. Fatal's play is grotesque to the point of artlessness. Lots of overt vulgarity. Only actors from the Fatal team play a little bit.
Village scenes are generally clumsy, but they contain a lot of stupid humor associated with the groping of animals, long falls from a height and into the mud.
Yun probably wanted to mock hip-hop culture, but he got into it, because this “culture” itself is based on grotesque, naive self-admiration, ugly values and principles.
Perhaps French is more interesting to look at, but in the Russian translation - only another variation in the spirit of the guys from "Camedi".
