However, what a surprise I was when I first watched this series on television when it was just coming out. It was something of a "step forward" for TNT series. I liked it very much, I emphasize very much, perhaps partly because I finished school myself, and I was waiting for an adult life, as it seemed, secret and full of all sorts of things.
But back to the show. Recently, I accidentally stumbled across it again and decided to reconsider. And you know what? I liked this product no less. Old schoolmates who met again by fate dragged me back into their story. A story about friendship, its development, mutual help, love, as well as attempts to “mut up” business in harsh realities is what you need.

I did not expect that the Russian series could be so irrevocably perceived. It is not annoying to play the actors and the setting of the plot, there is no unbridledness and the feeling that everything was done after sleeves. It is a pity that this project is only one of the few exceptions among terabytes of rubbish of mediocrity or imitation of foreign ideas.
Extremely concise, the content is described in the slogan - "about love, friendship and joint business". Four classmates, a few years after graduation, decide to join forces to create a small video studio. They are motivated by different motives: someone needs a job and income, someone, the desire to promote a career, and still others just for the company. As a result, this composition performs work with the wildest unprofessionalism, which is the basis of the comedy part of the project.
Of course, there was no hyperbolization. Heroes constantly overstep the stick, which leads to numerous castlings and plot movement. Stable emotional transitions occur. There’s also a lot of “cooling” and financially. Sometimes it is difficult to understand the comparability of their investments and losses.
In addition to work and friendship, the series has a love theme. There's a lot of promiscuous sex here. Almost all the characters do not hesitate to behave promiscuously, but in the end we will be shown a very bright and morally correct idea – love will overcome fornication. They will understand their feelings and be really happy. A beautiful happy ending at the end is very rewarding.
As far as acting and character selection were concerned, everything was very decent, at a level that satisfies expectations. This helped to make the picture bright and lively. The types of heroes are also quite interesting and distinguishable. There are application points that are used in the story.
As a result, we get: very exciting, modern, with excellent and not stupid humor, as well as with positive musical accompaniment, the series, which in a filigree manner, and, irrevocably, presents a small story about love, friendship and joint business. And, what is very nice, made in Russia.
I’ve recently become interested in TNT TV series. Of course, for people who are used to watching films of Cannes film festivals, this series will seem very mediocre. But for ordinary people who want to relax, think a little about what is relevant in our time, or laugh at awkward situations, this series is quite suitable, especially if you are a fan of the paintings of the Russian mentality.
There is some humor in this series that can be laughed at. Of course, if you are against any vulgarity on the screen, then this series will not suit you. It shows the priorities in the lives of people who graduated from high school in the 21st century and are trying to achieve their goals. There are many setbacks and obstacles on their way. Most of these obstacles are overcome by a good combination of circumstances, but in any case, there is much to think about and think about with Desire.
The result of this series is 4 people, completely different priorities, different life positions and different mentalities united for common goals. In the end, we have a rather funny series about the fate of these people and their attempts to realize their dreams.
On modern television there are many meaningless, empty series, where the emphasis is on humor. Humor is not always deep, but rather black, which is appropriate not at the table or in the presence of society.
However, this series combines both humor and the display of human characters.
In advertising on TNT, the series was presented as another dummy, which is a pond on television. But as soon as I came across him by chance, he fell deep into my soul. Making a series about the studio is quite risky. Especially when there are jokes, endings of the series. But despite this, I want to go back again and again.
Heroes turned out bright, their characters are recognizable. Each of the characters can remind your friend or friend. And friendship is the main “horse” of the show. Love and relationships are what make you cling to heroes.

What a pleasure to realize that Russian television is beginning to get out of the ashes of low-quality creations! Strangely, it would seem until recently that the probability that the TV series of domestic production will have a rating of seven or more points on KinoPoisk was something absurd. But now, after "Kitchen", after "Interns", after other creations of the flagships of the new television (such as CTC and TNT), you are less surprised by the preponderance of positive reviews and more and more simply pleasant you are surprised by the level and quality of new products.
One of the main premieres of autumn was the comedy "Studio 17" from the same TNT. Alas, this time it was not possible to achieve a high rating, but the channel once again won in another - in originality!
... The plot tells about several friends, former classmates, who, five years after graduation, life scattered in different areas of media life - from advertising agencies to suede DCs. Each of them strives to take a solid place in life, but it turns out that not all. As a result, a bold, but first, of course, absurd idea comes to mind - to create your own advertising agency. Four friends of the past are starting their own business.
It would seem that you can finish this development of the plot - weave a storyline about the attempts of beginners to win a media niche. But TNT would not be TNT if it did not try hard to prove that TV shows can be made according to the standards of the West, but not copying ideas, as everything before, but following a simple truth: as much as possible to confuse the plot and as much as possible to surprise the viewer.
At first glance, we have a show about the new business of “ordinary guys” ... but if you look closely, it becomes clear that this is not another creation “for the tick”, but a thoughtful and promising project! And they say this not so much very, very unusual script moves, as the constant development of the characters: each of the characters turned out to be atypically alive, atypically original. From series to series, the spectator discovers the background of the characters - from random connections to deep attachments, from understanding real friendship to realizing betrayal and resentment. From series to series, the plot becomes complicated, confused and finally brings out the main formula of the series: thoughtfulness and depth, which at first glance may seem only a set of scenes. The fact is, and it clearly becomes clear to the series on the fifth or sixth, that the plot is bound by an indivisible chain - all events are related to each other, and the secondary characters that appear for a couple of minutes will then necessarily manifest themselves in an unexpected angle, complementing themselves, History.
... And this is optimally woven into History by the participation of many stars of the first magnitude - from the immortal Valentin Gaft, to Chulpan Khamatova, Gosha Kutsenko and many other masters of Russian Cinema, who did not buy into not only supplementing the beginning project, but also playing, perhaps, a parody of themselves and show business in general.
Studio 17 is a brilliant, very, very underrated show that scares the first viewer away by raising age-old themes such as sex and the unrestrained fun of young people, but carries, at its root, a thoroughly thought out story, deep characters and the desire to demonstrate by all means that Russian television once again proves that it can not only copy Western ideas, but also bring a lot of its own – not lagging behind, and sometimes far ahead.

I’ve never written a review of the series, so Studio 17 is making its debut. I watched the first 2 episodes and have a strong desire to look further.
"Studio 17" is a series about 4 guys who opened their own film studio, are engaged in advertising and, of course, want to become famous. Quite an ordinary idea, which is diluted with good humor and interesting situations. Not to say I laughed a lot, but at least there was a smile on my face. Let's hope that in terms of humor, Studio 17 will still be able to rise to a higher level. This series can definitely remind you of “Real Boys”, as there were several friends who wanted to achieve a lot in life, but “Studio 17” has its differences and pros.
The actors in “Studio 17” are not bad, they took the unlit guys, which allows you to immerse yourself in the history of the series with a greater degree, to believe that you look at the real history of people. It's more good than bad. Remember, in 2010, no one knew who Kolya Naumov and Bogdanov and Selivanov, and then it turned out to be a big plus.
In the end, I want to say that Studio 17 is quite a pretty series, with a good plot, good humor and actors. Someone will not like it, and someone will become a fan of it. I advise you to try to watch a couple of episodes and you may like it, as I do. I think Studio 17 has the potential to rank alongside TNT hits like Interns and Real Boys. The series hooked me, I will look further and hope for a more powerful sequel.
