Art inside you Sweet and bright short film “Dripped”, dedicated to fine art. Translation of the painting eater is not very successful. Sometimes "Dripped" is translated as "Drop", which is closer to the true meaning of the word, and the plot of the tape.
The main character looks like an average resident interested in art, and regularly visits galleries and exhibitions.
The paintings literally transform him. He tries paintings to taste and each, depending on the subject and plot, gives him a variety of opportunities: the wings of Icarus, a mutation in the style of cubism, Dadaism, modernism, speed and play of light works of the Impressionists. Through physical transformations, the viewer can trace the changes in the soul of the hero: ecstasy, catharsis, admiration, obsession.
The walls of his apartment are hung with various canvases, among which you can recognize Munch’s “Scream”, Van Gogh’s “Self-porter”, the works of Warhol, Picasso, etc. It becomes clear that the hero has to steal paintings from galleries in order to satisfy his inner hunger. And when the walls of the rooms become empty, he takes up the brush himself.
The life path of the hero, his formation as a personality, creator and Man in a kaleidoscope of different styles and trends fascinates. The author of the short film deliberately bypasses realistic canvases, focusing on the works of avant-garde and expressionists. And, most importantly, the short film is dedicated to the memory of the master of abstract expressionism – J. Pollock.
