Beautiful, but implausible. Pretty good mini-series for the evening. In Russian cinema, now there are more and more series, some of them remain in memory for a long time, and many after watching disappear in our perception somewhere into oblivion. Unfortunately, this series, for me, is one of those that is called "watched and forgot."
I didn’t like it: the film is too superficial and implausible. It seems that everything is laconic in the plot, but at the same time something is insanely missing. The intensity of passions is very exaggerated in places, what should cause sympathy for the actors for the most part causes bewilderment and ridicule.
I liked the actors, it was noticeable that they are trying very hard to evoke in us the very feelings that we should feel while watching. Very charming main character Marina Konyashkina, I can say that she very well succeeded in the role in the series.
Summing up, despite all the shortcomings, the series is quite interesting to watch and want to see how the story ends. I’m sure “Children of Aquarius” will be able to find its audience among fans of Russian TV series.
