"In Your Veins" reminded me of the classical Japanese tradition. Cinematic. What? Minimalism is a feature of this film. Slowness and slowness of the plot canvas. Schools of ancient Greece practiced contemplative activity in the lessons of personal development. The modern world has incorporated spiritual practices into its rituals everywhere. Scandinavian ribbon is a light one and a half hour cocktail of gymnastics for the mind. Man and woman. Romantic relationships that turn into closeness. Physical intimacy is the basis of intimacy of the soul and here, in the period of development, problems arise. How? Why? Where's the reason? These questions are saddening and torturing police officer Eric. And the viewer is already aware of the hidden secret of Eve. Known, thanks to the revelation of the Director and is in anticipation, what will happen? How will events unfold? What is the finale for all of us?

Here is another Swedish mini-masterpiece. An underrated movie. A movie that can be watched after months or years. Alarming with the effect of attraction.

On the topic of drug addiction before this film, I watched several generally recognized masterpieces like ' Requiem for a Dream' or 'On a Needle'. But here the presentation of the material is different, there are no glitches, no many characters, no psychedelic.
The film is quite chamber, and shows the situation as if from two points of view - a girl trying unsuccessfully to recapture at least part of her life from heroin (unsuccessful, because she has neither strength nor motivation is lacking), and a guy who fell in love with this girl.

I came across this film because of Yuel Kinnaman, and for those who like peculiar, but perfectly playing European actors, this movie is recommended.
Malin Krepin, who plays Eve, also did well. Both actors put out so that you can’t see the actors, there are people. In a frightening but realistic situation. People who in the surrounding cold have no one to cling to but each other.
The film is heavy, with a realistic and viscous, viscous, pressing atmosphere. Those who like realism and Scandinavian cinema will appreciate it. It is better to watch alone - it is awkward to watch with someone. Intimate and heavy scenes are included.

Kinnaman as Eric captivated me. Young cop. Trusting, loyal, honest and naive, looking like a boy, and with his huge eyes alone conveying tons of emotions.
The main questions of the film, to which the authors lead - why people are drawn into the swamp of drug addiction, and whether love can pull a person out of this pool. Ultimately, what matters is whether or not there is someone who will stand up for that person - and with them - to fight.

I thought about writing or not reviewing this film because the film is quite standard and when you watch it, you get the feeling that you have seen this story more than once. But that doesn’t make the movie terrible. And as you can see, I decided to write. I only found out about this movie because I am interested in actor Yuel Kinnaman. I wouldn't have gotten to him. In general, the film was made well, I liked the camera work, and of course, such an important atmosphere for me. There is an atmosphere of melancholy and doomed love.
At the beginning of the film, we immediately meet Eva, a young girl who struggles with herself and her past, but loses her heroin addiction. She gets a job in security and seems to be fine, well, as normal, she comes up with a scheme for taking drugs according to which, it seems to her, she can control herself. But that wasn’t the case, at some point everything became known. At the same time, along with Eva's struggle, she accidentally meets a police officer, Eric. He's young, pretty, and he's very interested in Eva. They're having an affair. How to end this difficult, but not a new love story, I suggest you see for yourself.
Pretty actress Malin Krepin put her character Eva into life. But nothing special. I don’t want to sound rude, but how much does it take to play a drug addict who is struggling, she definitely did not bring anything to the role. But Kinnaman did not disappoint me with his hero, his face was always “talking”, he always had a lot of emotions, his eyes spoke without words. His character Eric constantly looks at Eve with such a loving look that it even seems that the actors probably had an affair outside of filming. Well, that's a guess. I think if the film is worth watching, it’s only for fans of Kinnaman’s work, because, alas, the plot is banal. I recommended this film to someone I know, but I do not regret watching it. It's a good movie, but for once. If you decide to go this thorny path with Eve and Eric, then...
