Fun in the prettier county of Cheshire. It is strange that there are no reviews for this wonderful film.
It is not a new way of home video - what I see, I shoot.
This is exactly what the story is about.
Rafe arrives at his brother's house a few days before his wedding and begins filming the preparations, literally minute by minute. The camera manages to capture a variety of moments - quarrels, dress fitting, someone else's wedding and so on for 1.5 hours.
We learn a lot about the lives of heroes.
Rafe and Tim are brothers who once went on a trip around the world, but Tim changed his mind and returned to normal life, and Rafe traveled around the world. As a result, Tim lives according to plan and leads his girlfriend to the crown, indulging in everything to the bride and future mother-in-law. Rafe, on the contrary, is still easy to lift, cheerful and not burdened with plans.
Saskia, Tim’s fiancée, lives in the house of his wealthy stepfather under the supervision of his mother, who has very strict aristocratic rules. Saskia, formerly detached, is now trying to be a well-bred daughter and is struggling not to prevent her mother from making the upcoming wedding "Wedding of the Year".
The groom with the bride and the brother of the groom spend a lot of time together, remember their childhood, prepare for the wedding in a constant rush.
The bride's mother gives all herself to the preparation of the celebration, dreaming of shutting her sworn friend-aristocratic by the belt.
The viewer is in the midst of the pre-wedding turmoil, slowly revealing the heroes from different sides and watching as everything rushes to the finale, which will not be unexpected, but will be very romantic.
The actors in the film are little known, only Lucy Punch is familiar to me. Everyone plays very, very from the heart, even secondary roles are colorful and memorable for a long time, what a girl is worth - a wedding manager. Lucy herself will shine her facial expressions in the scene with a kiss in a cafe - watch closely! Emotions are on your face!
In summary, we have a sample of good British cinema, with appropriate humor. The director ironizes over the stiffness of the aristocracy, laughs at the preparation for the wedding, carefully observes the emerging feelings.
The film is good, it leaves pleasant memories of itself, like an evening spent for a pleasant conversation, in which we managed to laugh, and remember with a smile the past, and discuss exciting issues.
Good to see you!
