A film about girl love Very elegantly pretending to be a crime drama, then a mysterious thriller, a romantic movie about the first girl’s love. Made very feminine, with great love for the main character, wandering naked and smeared for beauty in the chic dark mansion of her blind lover. The oil obviously symbolizes sweat, but the inquisitive viewer can still see that it is oil ... another trick.
It is even strange that the picture is based on the novel of the famous Chilean writer and poet Robert Bolaño - a man. Apparently, the accents were placed a little differently in his book. And so it was called in another way - "A little novel from the life of the scum of society." The director, Alicia Sherson, moved them as she saw fit. The book served her purpose. Well, she's a creator, a creator, has a right. There is also the brother of the main character Bianchi - Thomas, who connects with the spana - but all of them (and Thomas, and his friends) are present in the film as the background necessary to tell the main story.
The criminal turns out to be just a puff (no one is looking for the mythical safe of Machiste-Hercules), the pupil evaporates in an instant (it is worth pointing her finger at the door), and Bianca opens the window, contemplating a metaphysical thunderstorm - her soul restless in love. In fact, the director makes another substitution - showing a flock of birds.
If you go back to a completely useless story, it's next. After the death of their parents in a car crash, two orphans (Bianca and Thomas) find themselves in a difficult situation. The sister gets a job in a hair salon, and plus all the new friends of her brother find her a part-time job - to become a prostitute with a wealthy client named Machista (Hercules). In the past, he is a famous bodybuilder and film actor, after an accident, having lost his eyesight, drags on a life of loneliness and needs female caress. The scammers hope that the girl will be able to get into his trust and find out where Hercules keeps a safe with money. But it is with the blind Machista (by the way, played by Rutger Hauer) that Bianca discovers a true feeling, recognizes a woman in herself. Everything becomes clear after her phrase: "Your sperm is like molten gold in color."
Alicia Sherson, along with the heroine, experiences the charm of the first girl's passion, only by pure chance turned out to be defamed by some details of her private life.
The film, alas, despite all claims to the mystery and criminality of the plot, is frankly boring. The main character is neither beautiful nor sexual. Probably, all this should have been in the frame - for a reason she was smeared with oil - but, alas, it did not work. In my opinion, not the most interesting love story is not the most talented director, who turned out to be more a woman than a creator.
