The idea itself is quite profitable for an erotic film that tells about the relationship between a teacher and a student, which can affect a whole heap of sensual taboos, inspired by professional etiquette or protest against the oblique views of society, touching the tide of second youth in a mature woman and realized teenage dreams of a young man. But this is not all, because the story is still introduced tense detective note, trying to exacerbate the situation to the limit, dipping the viewer into a real erotic thriller, mixing passion with danger. All this could be in the tape, if the author, not accidentally left no trace in the cinema, was a talented director. Alas, the production turned out to be excessively confused in the plot, reminiscent of a clumsy semantic vinaigrette from several genres, submitted in the most unpretentious visual form, where only connoisseurs of the polished products of Playboy are prepared to feel the spiciness of the “picture”. But let's be clear.
First, the script undisguisedly reeks of purely teenage primitivism, which has a place in naturally passing puberty fantasies or silly porn about a lustful teacher and a concerned student. The fact is that the characters written out turned out to be too superficial, because of which absolutely everything that moves forward any interesting feature film is lost. Clear motives and feelings are completely absent, turning the expected characters with characters into cardboard images. Loudly named actor, performing the main part, unabashedly transferred from the early film “Private Lessons” (“Private Lessons”), where he similarly played along with our beloved “Emmanuel”. The role was identical, but most importantly - spoiling the second personality in the pair, making a real female person detached from reality image in a skirt. When an emotionally, socially and physically mature woman is attracted (in every sense) to a young student, but who has a male core, then logical meaning appears, but when we see a mumbled young man with a constant stupid frankly idiotic smile at a puppy’s look and instantly hanging around the neck of a heroine without a clear explanation of what is happening, the question arises for the director: what audience does he shoot his film? Fifteen-year-olds ready to take things seriously? Where are the signs of attention, first acquaintance, psychology, emotions? Where is His longing for Her after all the evening parties around the corner of the university, so that no one will see him give flowers and beg to walk home? Where is a reliable woman who thinks about her professional reputation, who values her work, and where is a young gentleman who understands this and will not embarrass her couple? The author didn't care. He somehow completely sweeps away common sense, removes others, concentrating only on thematic straight nudity, reaching the ridiculous to shoot erotic dating scenes right on the campus (!), believing that this is normal for the perception of others. No, the director, part-writer of the script, clearly never had a wonderful experience with a teacher in his student years.
And secondly, considering the already action-packed side of the work, you get lost in another exaggerated absurdity, when the creator of the picture seems to be trying to bite off each direction of the thriller a little bit, but in the end not grabbing any. A love triangle about a dissatisfied wife, an indecisive lover and a jealous husband wanders around the bush, without getting tense, although by all the laws of the genre, a loaded weapon with suspicion appears on the screen, foreshadowing psychological sharpness with the final chord. Alas, all this easily and quickly flows into another channel of an adventurous detective with a criminal conspiracy of our trio, involved in the murder of a couple of old women because of inheritance and will in the spirit of soap-serial intrigues, but with the same weak intellectual game against the background of general distrust. And it seems that just emerged that the most action-packed core, intensifying the conflict, as announced a new "piano in the bushes", giving birth in agony culmination in the spirit of slasher (!) about suddenly declared a generous splash of ketchup, crazy maniac in a mask and with a machete. No, not about old Jason, but the director obviously tried to please the teenage audience on two fronts, combining the stupid eroticism of “student-teacher” in the scenery of the student campus and horror with a sadistic maniac with the necessary slasher attributes, including colorful murders and fictional revelations in the apogee.
So it turns out that the erotic thriller did not shoot here or there, being simply stupid with unreliable characters, and deserves attention in the film only a good soundtrack for fans of American pop music of the 80s under all sorts of angles of the often nude Sybil Danning, whose name is inscribed in the unpretentious b-movie at the expense of this. It would be wrong to demand another from her - not the role.
