Sweet main character) Blob, blob. The sweetest, warmest, tenderest kisses. For 2012, they're just, wow, wow, how many. Those who lack them in other dramas will be fed a few pieces ahead. The drama went quickly and easily, good, kind, until the 14th episode... it was not so easy to watch. ;
“Queen Inhen’s Man” I started watching at the very beginning of my fascination with Korean TV series a few years ago. But then I dropped it and finally I looked. What can you say about it?
This is not pretending to be too much drama and logic bright, easy, cute and funny love story. The creators bet on the comedy genre, which in general left a sense of integrity.
There are many interesting ideas, such as a salvific talisman as a guide to the future, changing the future of heroes, the value of the era in which a person lives. However, in general, there is no full development of these ideas. So for me personally, it was exciting, but I didn't have enough tragic drama.
I liked the actors, no one annoyed, everything in moderation, which bribes me to look further. The music is excellent, almost the entire atmosphere is based on it.
Of the obvious shortcomings is the denouement. It's fantastic and unreal.
But the overall impression is good. I recommend to those who recently watch dramas, lovers of comedy and light cinema.

Pluses: exciting interesting plot, hence the relatively high speed of viewing, unreal chemistry between actors, love theme is the main one.
Minuses: not my drama is not my depth, souls are few (IMHO of course), hence my emotions aroused little. I didn't cry at all.
He: a good figure, the game is not quite liked - he brakes sometimes.
She: better play the girlfriends of the main characters, as she usually does; funny, she will make a good comedy actress, sometimes annoying, honestly; her character is frivolous, by her own admission, but I, unfortunately, do not like frivolous.
They're like a couple: casting respect! God, how do they look at each other? I'm always a fan of their couple both on screen and in life.

You. At the moment, in real life, they have already separated, and this is a pity, because they really seem to be made for each other.
Our heroes are bound by place and divided centuries. A meeting allows them to form a temporary corridor. I love all these elements of time travel fiction. The scenario here is very logical and dynamic. I didn’t get bored anywhere, as is often the case, especially in the middle of the series.
I like all these historical things: clothes, writing, sword fighting, embarrassing only public executions. I’ve seen all of this enough.
I thought that after watching "Hiller" with his delightful couple Ji Jang Wook and Park Min Yeon, no one would take me for a soul. But Yoo In Na and Chi Hyun Woo succeeded. I don’t want to put any of these two in first or second place. They were both so wonderful and special.
This is an amazing drama! Really, really! I have already seen the actress who plays the main character in some dramas, but she did not make a special impression on me. No appearance, no play. Here, in my opinion, she surpassed herself. She's just amazing here!
Separately, I want to note Kim Jin Woo in the role of a fan of the main character bathing in glory. He's so magically capricious.
Musical accompaniment in the drama at the proper level. The weather cheers and weeps with our heroes. Everything here is so wonderful that I recommend you to see it with your own eyes.
One heaven for two, but with a difference of centuries.
I love the historical genre very much, so I decided to watch the drama "Queen In Hyun's Man". Although the genre here is not completely historical, but still another work of Koreans attracted me.
Plot
The drama takes place in 1694 and 2012 simultaneously. The protagonist lives in the 17th century, and the heroine in the 21st century. And now by the will of fate (and in our case, its role is played by a talisman) the heroes meet in our time.
Heroes
Hee Jin (Yu Ying Na) is a pretty young girl, an aspiring actress. She wasn't lucky with her job all the time. And now she gets a role in a large-scale series, where the heroine will play Queen In Hyun. Hee Jin is too kind, she has a very tender and sensitive heart. And of course, she could not help the strange man in the clothes of the Joseon era that appeared before her.
Kim Pung To (Ji Hyun Woo) is a brave, very intelligent and handsome young man. He is an official of King Sukchon. He is very loyal to King and Queen In Hyun. And he does everything so that no one dares to destroy the Queen. One day, his wife’s former slave gives him a talisman to save Pung To from death. It is the talisman that will give him love and pain at the same time.
I really liked the main characters. Yoo In Na and Ji Hyun Woo played a very beautiful love couple. This is true love. Your mind may forget, but your heart will always remember and feel. As it turned out, the actors were really a couple in life. There were many romantic moments and kisses in the drama, which is extremely rare among Koreans. This is definitely a big plus for the series.
Queen Ying Hyun's man is a very beautiful romantic picture. The plot is completely unpredictable. You are happy for the main characters, then you cry with them. The whole drama is imbued with spring mood.
Well, to be honest, it's lucky we don't know anything about Korean history, dear friends! Otherwise, everything that was turned upside down in this drama would have seemed creepy and implausible to us. Because the writers of this tape clearly did not bother about the authenticity of historical events! Oh, thank God! We don’t care, and they’re happy to sing!
Well, let’s start with the fact that Koreans love all sorts of stories about travel in time, about the contact of different realities and other fantastic stuff. And the global tendency to move the main characters from their own time to someone else is clearly obvious. And all of us have long been accustomed to the sequence of events that occurs during the transition from one epoch-time belt to another. But here's the bad luck! Like I said, there's a whole mess here! Screenwriters spit on the rules of conduct in someone else's time! The butterfly effect? No, I haven't!
Let me compare the behavior of a typical average traveler and our fighter for justice and the patron of the humiliated and insulted (I will not name him, it looks somehow not decent in our Russian)).
Phase one - distrust: "No way!" Am I asleep? This reaction is stable for stories of this kind. Our hero no doubt rushed into the heat of filming the series! Snatched clothes from some poor lad and rushed on to scour the expanses of the twenty-first century!
Stage two is denial: "Is this a joke?" It's not with me! I do not believe in the reality of what is happening! Our gentleman adviser by this time has already got a girlfriend, learned to use the elevator and pushed out the mega-star!
Stage three - understanding: "Can you tell me what year it is?" How did I get here? How can I go back? The Joseon guest of this series has already managed to drive home, understand the mechanism of movement, study all the subtleties of reincarnation in a modern person, think through all the moves to retreat and return back, pre-appointing a meeting! I like his business approach!
Stage four is acceptance: Help me get comfortable. Tell me how to move forward.” And our successful entrepreneur has already tried how to profit, smeared skis in the library to change the course of history completely, took advantage of the breadth of views on the relationship between the sexes of his companion and successfully legendary in the new world.
Stage five - addiction: Here the hero makes friends, applies existing knowledge to reality. But our hero went on again! Why would he need his outdated knowledge? He'll get new ones! Especially if he gets tired, he can always turn back. He is overlaid with books, expands the circle of acquaintances, acquires new skills, acquires funds, pushing his sword to some sensible grandfather. In general, I dug in here fully with the possibility of retreat.
Well, the drama would not be a drama if there were no such a dashing plot twist in it. We were not disappointed by the creators. It really went a little corny here. Loss of memory and then inability to return Development of events - as the doctor ordered. I won’t open America if I say that in the end it’s still Happy End.
Well, enough about the plot. Now for the characters. I have already fully described the main character. All that remains is to add a few touches to the portrait. This learned husband at first seems not too pretty toothpaste and somewhat stingy on emotions boot, but then comes the understanding that this complements his image. A kind of logician and intellectual with a high adaptive ability. He quickly understands his feelings, without trying to deceive himself and noodle heroine on his ears. His actions are very rational, and all moves are thought out. This is not an accident.
The main character. Dreamer, cunning, braggart and laugher. Very amorous, windy and sweet. Waiting is what she knows, knows, practices. She spends her whole life waiting for something: a role, a loved one, happiness. Positive and not too deep. That's all there is to say about her.
And, of course, what without a love triangle? The third peak was a super-famous actor and colleague of the main character. And here's a non-trivial image too! Such a joker and a poster, I would say, stupid cardboard! Immediate and spontaneous, emotionally hysterical, slightly narcissistic, but not without self-irony. Perhaps my favorite character in this series. It was great to see his change of mood! And the fact that as a result he is not in favor of the main character does not seem so tragic and sad. Moreover, the reality has changed so many times during this time that it is impossible to understand their relationship at the end.
If we talk about the drama in general, it is very exciting, interesting and non-trivial. But at the same time, easy, romantic and pleasant. Anyone who says he didn’t love her after the first episode should watch the second. I'm sure everything will change after that.
Kim Poon-To was an official and scholar of the Joseon era. He is one of the few supporters of Queen In Hyun, who has been excommunicated and is experiencing difficult times.
When they try to kill the hero, he has a talisman with him, which transports Kim Poon To to 300 years ahead - to our time. Fate confronts Kim Poon To with a young, cheerful and somewhat cocky actress who plays Queen In Hyun in the drama. Adventures in the past and present. And every time to get into the present, the hero has to almost die.
Kim Poon To is not just a smart person, he is truly brilliant - the way he quickly, easily and, most importantly, logically and consistently perceived the new reality, began to master new knowledge is admirable, and the writer wants to applaud.
The first series caused bewilderment, is this thing someone can cause such a storm of excitement. The plot did not intrigue, the characters did not cause much sympathy, and the main character seemed very mediocre at all. Moreover, there was a certain protracted plot and poverty of historical scenes (apparently the fact that the series was shot for a cable channel and the budget was limited).
But...
Since the 4th series, everything has fallen into place. Between the characters, not only sparks flew, but a real fire broke out, and all the shortcomings of the series faded into the background. Despite the fact that some scenes (and especially the beginning) are somewhat drawn out, in general, the plot is well thought out and keeps in suspense until the very end.
This is an incredibly tasty thing, in which drama, comedy and romance are very competently mixed. In fact, it’s probably one of the most beautiful and romantic series I’ve ever seen.
P.S. I prefer another version of the name – “Knight of Queen In Hyun”. Of course, there was no such thing as a “knight” in medieval Korea, but in spirit the main character is just a real knight without fear and reproach.

“One heaven for two, with a difference of centuries!”
Can love overcome time? The question is not time zones, but centuries between past and future. You can see this kind of love in movies and read about it in books, but in real life no one has ever experienced it. It is by its unreality that such a story attracts attention and generates interest.
1694 In Joseon-era Korea, dignitary groups are vying for influence. A special place in this struggle is occupied by the legal wife of King In Hyun and the official mistress of the king. The western group supports the queen, the southern group supports the mistress. The king tossing between them. The whole picture is ridiculous and absurd, how one can love such a king, how one can forgive such a man. An important role in solving the problem of “who should be at court?” was played by the young dignitary Kim Pung To. He fought on the side of the Queen, for which his whole family suffered and he remained her only representative. Between battles and attempts to survive, he receives a talisman of incredible magical power, which, when trying to take the life of his master, opens the door to another time dimension. And in another attempt to save his life, Kim Pung To is transferred to 2012.
2012 The world of information technology. It is home to former model and now aspiring actress Choi Hee Chin. With men, she does not develop relationships, the former constantly clings, there is no one to protect. In the career, too, stupor, a competitor a lot, and in the model do not take back. At such a difficult time, Hee Ching gets the chance to play the main role in the historical drama, namely the role of Queen In Hyun. For the first time, she meets a guy in a traditional costume. After greeting her, he asks her a strange question for our time: “Am I alive or dead?”
Yu In Na A memorable actress. Since the days of the “Mystery Garden”, she has sunk into the soul in her sweet way. In “Queen Ying Hyun’s Man”, her character does not differ in her special mind, but she cannot be called stupid either, because she directly indicates her strength – beauty. Kim Pung-To rightly said, “You just don’t know everything.” Hee Chin Too kind, for which she constantly gets hurt. Too cute, for which she is often offended and deceived. But, at the same time, she is strong if she is ready to sacrifice her career and reputation for the sake of her beloved.
How I missed smart male characters without arrogance and narcissism. What a joy it was to see Kim Pung Toh! Kind, respectful, intellectual! The only thing he has left of superheroes is the possession of a sword (and in the plot with an official of his level, it did not fit at all). For the sake of his love, Kim Pung To was willing to sacrifice customs, name and life, but it was not up to him to decide. On his own, he can only love someone who will be nice to his heart, which he did. Chi Hyun Woo remembered due to the character of his character, so it is very interesting to look at his other works.
Time travel is not new in cinema, starting with the American classics Back to the Future, ending with the reproduction of such plots in other countries. This topic is especially popular in South Korea, and 2012 was made the Year of Time Travel. And although the dramas are now a great many on such a topic, still each has its own charm. Queen In Hyun's Man is no exception. Filled with incredible chemistry between the main characters, the series must be watched in the spring mood or in the rain. “Queen In Hyun’s Man” is one of the most romantic in the history of viewing.

One of the most romantic films. A little bit in some places resembles “The Butterfly Effect”, but not in the plot, but rather in meaning. Everything in life is interconnected, actions entail results, and not only your fate depends on the decisions made.
For Choi Hee Jin, Queen Ying Hyun was history, just her role in film. But for Kim Bon Do, everything is real, and the queen is the one he swore to protect even at the cost of his own life. The two heroes were brought together by a mascot. He is a blessing, he is a curse.
The twists and turns of the plot are so unexpected that it is impossible to predict what awaits you and how everything will be resolved. It becomes clear: if there is calm, calm, then a storm will surely follow. Very beautiful, unusual and exciting shows the meeting of the heroes at the same time, in one place, only with a difference of centuries. And let the mind understand nothing and remember nothing, the heart will store memories.
Music is selected accordingly. It reflects ancient motifs of traditional Korean instruments (kayagym), and classical sounds of piano with violin, and modern melodies (electrogitar). All this is intertwined, and we hear such mesmerizing songs as Deok Hwan - I'll Give My Life With You and Joo Hee (8eight) - Another Time, The Same Sky, and from instrumental compositions "In a world without you" and "Overhang the fate".
It's actually a beautiful movie! About duty, about responsibility, about love through the ages and about the power of two hearts.

Turning on a drama doesn't get you immediately drawn into this story, or even two. But from the second or third series, it fascinates. At first, the plot seems simple and a little familiar, but with each subsequent series, the plot unfolds not standard. Sometimes you think that’s all, but something happens that you can not be surprised!
I’ve revisited the dramas a bit, you can count on your fingers, but this one has undoubtedly become my favorite. Two storylines intertwine here: in the modern world and in the Joseon era. None of them is inferior to the other, as it happens in many films, and thanks to the constant alternation of modern life, then the past, you can take a break from melodrama and comedy, immersed in history (I do not know this fiction or partial truth), and vice versa.
The main characters in this film are not the most beautiful compared to other films (although the taste and color ... as they say), but over time you notice in them an inexplicable attraction, charm, something elusive that you can not feel sympathy for them.
Ji Hyun Woo impressed me with his performance, his Kim Pung To conveyed the whole range of feelings; he showed heroism, loyalty, honor, courage, despair, love, and perseverance, admired his desire for learning, honesty, openness. How can you not love this?!
Yoo In Na and her character Choi Hee Chin did not surprise me immediately, but her tears, sobs, joy seemed so sincere and real, there was no feeling of hyperplay, overplay. she liked the faith of her heroine, she did not doubt the people she loved and who loved her. It is very simple and true to your heart.
Kim Jin Woo is a beautiful actor, comic situations with him gave relief in tense moments, fun.
This is one of the films that really touch, make you believe, hope and love. The creators of the film worked hard! As long as you write definitions of this series, there is not one that would show the negative side. Soulful, amazingly exciting, emotional, I will not be afraid of this word sensual, magical and fabulous. That's the effect it had on me. I’m sure I’ll review it at least a couple more times.
