Too married taxi driver In Kiev, in the theater of Russian drama, Ray Cooney’s play Too Married Taxi Driver (originally Run For Your Wife) is very popular. I was on it a couple of years ago and had a lot of fun, the whole room laughing to the abdominal pain. When I saw that the playwright decided to write a script for his play, become a director and make this film, I was of course curious what happened.
Undeservedly low rating in the film is caused by:
a) an unusual format of cinema, it is still very similar to theatrical production;
b) perhaps again an unusual English humor, although there was a cake, smeared, however, not on the face as in Hollywood comedies, but on a soft place;
(c) lack of popular actors and publicity.
It is difficult for me to judge from the point of view of the viewer who will watch the movie for the first time, because in fact I already knew all the vicissitudes. And yet I can say with confidence that this is a cheerful light comedy of positions. There are slightly drawn-out moments in the middle of the film, but since he himself is not large in timekeeping, they are insignificant and do not spoil the overall impression, only slightly removing the heat in the storyline. The film is ideal for family viewing or when you just want to relax and get a portion of a good mood.
