Jung Jae Young Jung Jae Young
Jeong Jae Yeong
Jung Jae-young is one of the leading actors of Korean cinema, almost every one of his recent films became a hit. Apart from his debut film The Adventures of Mrs. Park, which even in Korea no one remembers, his next film The Green Fish (1997) brought him fame. Despite this success, the following years he was not lucky with projects, he went to success for a long time, interrupted by random roles, during this time he managed to lose those few advances that he earned even though he lit up in a good crime drama “Die Young”. Success came with a new century, in 2001 "The Talking Killers", and in 2002 there were three hits with his participation "No blood, no tears" "Sympathy for Mr. Revenge" and "No comment". Now Jung Jae-young is more picky about the projects that are offered to him, he is already over thirty and he does not agree to everything in a row. In 2003, he is not almost lost against the background of such mastodons of Korean cinema as Ahn Son-gi, Sol Kyung-gu, and Ho Joon-ho in the military drama Silmido.
All this is of course great Chung Jae-yeon is known and popular, but he has not once played a leading role in the cinema, in all his works he was as they say on the pick-up, "Someone special" in his kind appeared to his debuts in the movies, the film was so popular that Jung Jae-yeon risked becoming a hostage to the role of a romantic hero, but this did not happen, then Jung Jae-yeon alternated comed with crime dramas. Having brilliantly played in the intellectual comedy “The Robbery”, he radically changed his image in the next film, playing a soulless gangster and maniac in “Enemy of Society 3: Return”.
On the screen, Jung Jae-young draws the attention of the viewer, the film from and to can be held on his charm as, for example, the absolutely brilliant Robinson on the Moon. If you see his film where he plays a negative character for the first time, it will not be easy to rebuild yourself into a film where he is in the image of an intellectual or a romantic hero and this testifies to his amazing ability to embody a reliable image, as in the films “Glove” or “Omut”.
Jung Jae-yeon works a lot, only this year there were three films with his participation “Pedant”, “Broken” and “The Wrath of the King”, which unfortunately has not yet reached us.
