A party that isn't boring “Party Center” is a short film that takes place somewhere inside the plot of “Monster University”. Since it has already become a tradition to produce short films for feature-length animated films, it is quite expected that such an addition has appeared to the University.
In my opinion, "University" turned out worse than "Corporation", but "Party Center" I was very pleased. The soundtrack here is mostly rock songs and it’s amazing! Although without music, the cartoon is also happy. Here you can feel the drive inherent in discotheques, and even if you do not like such evenings, the "Party Center" you are likely to like very much. Even strange that the authors of the franchise only here decided to play with door portals. It's not just the way to the energy source, it's the -- the portals themselves, right? In the frame all the time saturated colors, which further enhance the cheerful atmosphere, and the general friendliness, which is saturated with conversations, will make you feel real comfort.
Speaking of the universe, yes, I have to admit again that in Monsters Corporation the world seemed more thoughtful than in University. Here we are shown a wide variety of monsters, but they are ridiculous. Take at least the guy in whose house the main events take place. He's clumsy, looks like a piece of jelly. His purple long-legged friend is too weird. Apparently, the authors of the prequel really wanted to surprise the audience with the flight of fantasy, but they were too far off the ground.
But in the "Party Center" there are inimitable scenes with the presence of people. Oh, yeah, they're worth your attention, especially the post-credits scene! This idea is good for a short film, so it was treated very well. To sum up, I say to the Center a confident "yes."
