Don't hurt the girls... For many, this movie went unnoticed in 2014. Most likely, the audience was frightened by the studio Asylum, which evokes strong associations with mokbusters - cheap imitators of blockbusters. However, the studio has original projects, among which there is a special category with an erotic bias. “Asian schoolgirls” are one of those. And you know what? These films are very good at the studio!
Of course, this is not the level of films "I spit on your graves" and "Satannaya", but for their budget "Asian schoolgirls" look at "hurrah". Looking at a few random scenes for review, I sighed sadly from the fact that the main actresses do not quite meet my expectations of sex appeal, but when you see them fully, you gradually imbue them with sympathy. And now you will hear an incredible thing for your ears: this film is a good acting. Yes, I do believe that trapped schoolgirls go through a stage of hysteria and then become overwhelmed with a desire for revenge. A cold-blooded desire that begins to beat over the edge. This is terrifying, especially when you think that something like this is probably happening somewhere in real life right now.
It is so arranged in nature that men and women are born and develop in most cases different. Both physiologically and psychologically. Therefore, there are still some issues in which there is a lack of full understanding between the sexes. The police officer, arms dealer and other minor male characters are unable to fully understand all the upheavals that Hannah, May and Vivienne suffered, because they cannot be in their place at all will. Forced to avenge their girlfriend, the girls decide to do everything possible, because retribution is the little that is familiar to both men and women.
Of course, the film is not without exaggeration and some other blunders. The fact that the main characters look too old for schoolgirls is the scourge of the vast majority of American films. Their rapid training in martial arts to the level of “single-handedly defeating high pitches” is a problem specifically for Asian Schoolgirls. Where is the stereotype of “all Asians on the same face”? That, to be honest, is the main reason why I do not want to give the highest possible rating. Someday there will be a time when the United States will begin to distinguish between Japanese, Chinese and Korean women, but judging by what films are released in 2021, this will not happen soon. Unfortunately. But there are good scenes with striptease (very frank, which can not but rejoice), torture and even one impressive bloody murder closer to the end. This is not what I expected from the movie Asylum.
Not great, but good. Confident:
