Great series, one of the best First of all, in the series, I liked the quick change of action already in the 12th series, 1 mystery was revealed, the next one too did not last too long, however, as always, some secondary lines began to be delayed, but in comparison with other series is quite dynamic.
The original title of the series “In the Shadow of the Father” fully reflects its essence, but the gesture of the film crew that changed the name to honor the memory of one of the actors was very touching.
The show is known as The Felix Story and I agree with that. From the first series, the main character became Felix, but not because the audience likes villains more, but thanks to the writers who perfectly prescribed the character with all his motives, bad and good deeds, evil but accurate jokes. It immediately becomes clear that he will do anything for the love of his father and the end of the series is perfect in their story. When I saw Mateus Solán (Felix) for the first time, I became a fan of him, his performance was beautiful, it is not surprising that he collected many awards for this role.
Not to mention Paloma and Bruno, the main couple of the series, which unfortunately turned out to be rather faded and did not cause special feelings, despite all their suffering. The reason, I think, is the lack of chemistry between them, they were just a beautiful couple and that was it. In addition, in my opinion, Paloma also has not the kindest traits, to some extent she is no less spoiled than Felix, just less ambitious.
Much more chemical and bright was a couple of Miguel and Patricia, not for nothing they were given the same time as the main characters and they, together with Sylvia and Guto not badly diluted serious moments.
As for the Kuri family as a whole, they are all worth each other, each of them breaks the law, each has skeletons in the closet, which they use against each other, acting out whole performances with exposure. Alin actually fits in perfectly with her secrets and if the writers decided to whitewash her, I would not be surprised. She is as much a victim of an unhappy childhood as Felix, but unlike him, she had only an aunt abandoned by a much-lost aunt who, instead of supporting her, nurtured a sense of revenge in her. In the series, many characters who suffer from the actions of their relatives and only realizing that they need to live for themselves become happy.
Valderini, initially a rather funny comic character, became annoying with time and constant repetitions of the same events, and at one point I caught myself missing moments with her. Although the actress herself played quite well.
In general, I recommend watching this movie.
