Sleepless in Tokyo Surprisingly cute drama in the style of Hollywood romantic comedies of the 90s, diluted with working moments. The absence of completely negative characters, great dialogue, the bombshell in the choice of the soundtrack (which is my adored “Moon River”, which runs through the entire narrative, almost the main love theme, and the most recognizable melody from “Amelie”, sounding in the final series), made the series a kind of marshmallow surrounded by endless intricacies of other people’s stories. Honestly, I haven’t seen this in a long time, and I haven’t come across it when searching for an evening viewing. “Dokushin kizoku” after a difficult working day – the fact that despite the fact that we have seen all this somewhere once, there is no desire to rewind the series or turn off, the characters are pleasant, look interesting, and why deny yourself the pleasure to plunge into the soft cover of the series.
Tsuyoshi Kusanagi (Hoshino Mamoru) although it does not have a rolling beauty, plays well and feels the hero. In fact, the cast of the drama is selected for five plus, which can not be argued with the fact that all the actors are in their place. The beautiful Keiko Kitagawa, for which I watched this series, did not let me down this time. I’ve met several opinions that many of her roles are similar to each other, but here’s my evening with her, both “Mop girl” and “Akumu-chan” and a few more things are viewed, everywhere she is different, beautiful and talented. Well, I do not hide very much liked his charm Hideaki Ito ( Hoshino Susumu). And it is most likely worth noting Kami Hiraivu (Reiko-san), her character, so standard in classical romcoms, really pleased in the end.
Yes, the drama is predictable, it can not be taken away, from the very first second you know how it will end (and everything will end here well), but sometimes you want something fabulous and cute that I just can not recommend Dokushin kizoku. See for yourself, show your girlfriend, sister or mother. I think they'll like it.
