Maniac Gallery: William Castle's Worlds by MacAbrae William Castle's horror movie was definitely a success. Suffice it to say that the film was invested 90 thousand dollars, and the output of the creators received 5 million.
It was a real success - especially since Castle made a really strong and interesting movie. First of all, let me note the dynamism of the picture. The director immediately drove the viewer into a very tight time frame - 5 hours.
5 hours is exactly the period during which the protagonist can find the kidnapped daughter. He was informed that the little girl was placed in a coffin, and air in it will last exactly 5 hours.
The whole movie will be in search of the location, but how can you determine the exact location? When it seems to the viewer that everything is irretrievably lost, the director skillfully relieves tension - adding flashbacks that tell in more detail about some events in the hero's past. Well, then, the laws of the genre suggest "turning everything upside down." And in this component, the film of William Castle will not yield to its numerous competitors.
So, it remains only to recommend to draw your attention to the work of this very original and not too promoted director - it is worth it.
Next Next post: Who kidnapped the doctor’s daughter? Will he be able to find her in five hours? How dare people put a living child in a coffin? Where was she buried?
These are the questions the viewer will have in the field of the first 10 minutes of viewing. A worthy, stylish, interesting and original film by William Castle.
