12 points out of 10! This film is a wonderful, sparkling, beautifully shot comedy with a magnificent play of actors, and at the same time a cute melodrama with a happy ending. The plot develops rapidly and dynamically, looks in one breath, the viewer will not be bored. Shortly and succinctly, the plot of the film is described in a touching children's verse that Igor read to his Karina: "A leaf of carved orange fell from a tree, everyone stepped on the sheets that fell. Only a little boy, a boy with nails, took it from the ground, lifted it up and said: Flower!
This film is for those who have a sense of humor and can understand and appreciate not only primitive jokes "below the belt" but also subtle humor on a variety of topics. Those who expect to see an action-packed movie with chases and snouts or an abundance of intimate scenes - it is better not to watch.
The film is perfect for both individual and family viewing: despite the fact that the plot develops as a love polygon, everything is filmed and played by actors within the framework of decency, there are only a couple of short episodes that are not recommended to watch with children. In general, the film is perfect for family viewing.
Actors who play the main roles deserve special praise. Sergey Burunov (the role of Boris Paramonov) played at the highest level. His hero perfectly entertains the viewer in any episode, even in seemingly dramatic moments, when after the scandal with Vera, Boris decided to leave and even cried on the chest at Lada Kalinina (Olga Medynich), - the episode looks fun and ends with humor.
Separately, I would like to note the brilliant play of Olga Medinich (the role of Lada Kalinina – Karina). She was magnificent, multifaceted and unique! During a small film, she has to constantly reincarnate: at first she is an ordinary young educated woman, forced to work as a flower seller to somehow make ends meet. Then she becomes a successful elite astrologer, the wife of a successful businessman. Then the plot takes her to another era, more than half a century ago, where she plays the scene of the acquaintance of Igor’s grandparents. At the end of the film, she returns to her normal life as a flower saleswoman. And with all the transformations, she coped perfectly. To play such different roles in one small film is the highest acting skill.
And what is the only small episode at the end of the film, when Lada-Karina and Boris Paramonov faced nose to nose with his former classmate Kondratyeva in the presence of Vera and Igor? If you try to “scroll” the episode of this meeting slowly, you can see how the emotions on Lada’s face change from the expression of horror (all is lost – “complete failure”) to the expression of joy of the meeting (so as not to “burn” before Igor), and it happens in one second, or even a split second! Only the greatest actress can play this, and Olga Medynich succeeded!
It looks great as Vera and Maria Gorban. Her role is certainly simpler than that of Olga Medinich, but she played it 100%. It is worth noting the scenes of her telephone conversations with Boris-Karina about his trip to the Crimea, and the “introductory briefing” of Karina immediately after arrival during SPA procedures.
Special praise also deserve children who amazingly played their roles at the “adult” professional level, these are Sveta (Sophia Stetsenko) and Sasha (Kostya Blackflyuk). For children of such an interesting and inquisitive age, they are very few words, but each of their lines hits right into the top ten. It is worth remembering at least the dialogue between Sasha and Boris Paramonov about the tablet - a bicycle - consoles, or satirical remarks Lights to Vera - this is a classic of humor.
The great director and screenwriter Alexei Kiryushchenko, as well as the magnificent acting tandem of Olga Medinich and Sergey Burunov managed to create a real masterpiece of modern cinema humorous genre. Alexey Kiryushchenko managed to make a film in which the facets of the talents of these bright and original actors were revealed as much as possible. To describe here all the highest class episodes played by them is impossible and meaningless. The game of top-class professionals cannot be described in words – it is necessary to see. The play of Olga Medinich in this film can be compared with the Great Andrei Mironov and Sergey Burunov - with the Great Anatoly Papanov in the classic of our cinema - "The Diamond Hand".
If you look at the reviews of this film on trackers - positive reviews 90-95%! This confirms the fact that the film has already won the hearts of many viewers. You can watch and enjoy it many times in a row and at the same time it does not bother at all, on the contrary, during the next viewing you discover something new in it, which for some reason you did not notice before. Jokes, quotes and funny dialogues from the film, viewers already write in reviews - over time they will become winged expressions. This means that the film is gradually becoming a classic of its genre.
I want to say Bravo again! to Alexei Kiryushchenko, Olga Medynich, Sergey Burunov, as well as to all the writers, actors and operators who created this masterpiece. And I really want to say “Bees!”: although the story of the film looks finished, I want to ask Alexei Kiryushchenko to shoot a sequel to this film, or another film, but necessarily with the same constellation of truly magnificent actors: Olga Medynich and Sergey Burunov.
