Worldwide Ferris Wheel with a cart "let's not look for the good sides of the movie, it's better to hat it to the end." Until now, for me (as for a real horror man with more than 12 years of experience), I do not understand why everything herds endlessly continue to kill the film. I agree, this series can not be called an excellent and not a standard horror movie, there are many stupid moments and outright idiocy in the actions of the characters, but this is not the main thing ... and the fact that the franchise looks qualitatively - juicy murders, hemorrhages, letting the guts (which I believe and take half the budgets), is not this the main thing in horror films? Each part is not deprived of the plot, there are common ideas and interesting endings (and with them the main thing is the atmosphere), but they also cease to pay attention to this.
"Turn the wrong way 6" - much reports from its predecessors, and all because - there is no longer so pronounced slasher (which is inherent in all 1-5, where the race for survival), there is too much emphasis on history. If you are sensible (despite your personal taste), this part is more important than 1.3.5 and 4 too (there is only “Bloody beginning” makes sense).
In search of a sudden and mysterious inheritance, Danny and his friends find themselves in Hobb Springs, an abandoned West Virginia resort. On occasion, he learns that his relatives, whom he never knew anything about, lead a cannibal lifestyle. The hero has to make a choice: leave with his friends or join his strange family, taking on a new look of life. In addition to our Hillykers, other generations of Craytons and Bogels are being revealed to us, which in turn expands the film universe. There were a lot of pictures of families that we didn’t see again from Part 2. And in general, this film breathes life into the franchise again - after all, we believed that after the third part (on which everything ended), almost everyone was killed along with the Three-Palmer and his son, and then it turns out that there is another family in other forests ... not to mention Danny and Sally, who in the plot also planned a further kind.
The film is not bad (and it is less stupid), moderately spectacular and there is something to think about, the old motifs of the composer Claude Foysey pleases the film! Like not a bad team of heroes, there was someone to pity. And I don’t mean to say that the film is so great, these unnecessary “undressed” scenes dispelled, as well as Sally’s ill-concern (although perhaps her restraint was meant to show what she tolerates to incest with Danny). And I can not yet remember the terrible makeup of the Hillicker brothers ... did not try, but more gave brightness to scenes of murder.
In general, I consider this film to be for a fan, not just for an amateur... in the end, it is a fan and differs from ordinary viewers in that it is his duty to accept and love each episode (he came to my face). And for ordinary viewers, to whom the film does not come (and it is not clear why they continue to watch), the film will never like and will not settle sensibly... but the 6th part is good!

Truth be told, after the hugely unsuccessful fifth of "The Wrong Turn," the desire to watch the last -- the sixth -- there was no part at all. But still, in the end, the decision was born to see with my own eyes the sad finale of such a successfully started franchise, and... suddenly everything turned out to be very good.
The sixth “Turn the wrong way” was very unusual. On the one hand, there are all the features of the category B slasher: a lot of blood, a sea of sex and the tension of the main characters. The creators even over the makeup of the main trio of antagonists this time did not try at all – it is clear that the Three-toed, Pyrotooth and One-eyed are not mutants, but actors in masks, although they cannot be considered in detail. But at the same time, for the first time in all six films, a rather interesting plot unfolds before us, in which the main character finds his relatives in the outback of the Appalachians. Despite the fact that almost every character contains some stereotypes, and all the blunders and shortcomings are trying to outshine scenes of intercourse, the idea does not come out of my head that there is something in this. It seems that the director really knew for which audience he was shooting the film, and made it exactly the way everyone expected it - not expensively shot, with primitive acting, but for his level it is quite good.
Once again, the trinity of cannibals is naughty only against the background, and the focus is on a neglected recreation center with strange hosts, one of whom is a passionate blonde thirsty for a love union. The presence of ritual scenes in the plot is perceived as a fairly cheap, but effective technique - an aura of mystery and indeed managed to create. And just as importantly, we finally saw a settlement of mutants, the same ones that appeared in the second movie. Thus, the prequel trilogy fulfills its final task, and we see a stunned, but quite digestible backstory of the first film, which after watching the sixth part will be perceived especially ominously, for fantasy paints what we were not shown – the fate of the surviving heroes. How long will the dark cause of the twentieth century flourish? Active demonstration of the latest gadgets transfers the events of the first film from zero to the 2010s, so that the early “Turns are not there” reflect the events of later years.
It is not necessary to say that one of the actors plays delightfully, and there was no such task before them - the requirement was only to cause audience sympathy, which was quite possible for all young actresses who somehow have to be naked for erotic scenes. Of course, Roxanne Pallett, depicting a typical heroine of easy behavior, which must necessarily be present in any slasher, comes to the fore. You can give credit to Sadie Katz and Talite Luke-Erdley, but Aquilla Zall is the only one who annoyed the whole film with her presence. Anthony Illot and the rest of the actors play poorly, but not terribly. Given the category of the film, the composition can even be approved.
Summing up, it is worth admitting that the sixth part, despite its number, turned out to be successful due to the emphasis not on bloody scenes, but on the plot. It was a pleasure to watch.
I don’t know why the 6th part of the franchise about guys who never turn is so bad that it got such low marks. As for me, “Blood kinship” is second only to the first part, which in turn is a classic among slashers.
How did the sixth part of "Turn the wrong way" hit me? As for me, Valery Milev has brought a lot of innovative ideas to the already very boring series of films of the category B. Yes, during the film we will see the naked bodies of the main characters more than once, which has already become the norm for WORKS. But at the same time, we are not looking at a stupid meat grinder, but the actual problem of Blood kinship. Will Danny be able to accept in his heart the idea that all his relatives, whom he never knew, are a bunch of cannibals with various mutations of incest (by the way, yes, the hero will face the question of intercourse with a relative)? In general, there is a lot of new waiting for franchise fans in this part.
Of course, do not forget about your favorite characters, namely the brothers cannibals: One-Eye, Three-Pal and Pylotooth. They look more modest than in the first parts, but in general quite tolerable.
The cast is very modest and except among Katz, who plays the found sister Denny, and no one can be singled out (actually even then with a stretch).
At the same time, the best thing in the film besides the idea is the soundtrack. It’s really good and highlights the atmosphere of the film.
As a result, a very interesting idea, a good implementation, because

I decided to master the final part, which was predictably bad. I am surprised that the creators of the franchise have long ceased to shoot more or less competent maniac horror, forgetting all the traditional attributes. But the writers tried their best and in each subsequent part added new, useless details. The absurdity of them just goes off the scale, and if you consider that this is the last part (I sincerely hope), then here the viewer expects something very grandiose.
This time, the forest freaks got a huge family, which was not limited to only close relatives, here almost entwined “third knee”. They were passionately looking for a lost relative who suddenly found himself arriving with friends at a local boarding house. Yes, by the way, this very boarding house is a family business of enterprising maniacs. Such a social leap was made thanks to the efforts of the couple, apparently quite fit, they enjoyed the trust of guests, feeding a huge family.
The young people did not hesitate and quickly had sex. We walked around the house to give credit to the script and had sex again. It's understandable, it's young. But the funny thing is that the whole plot is built on the importance of leading an intimate life, that is, not only the victims rush to copulate, but also the villains were distinguished by unrestrained lust. There was a bunch of rabbits, to give you credit, the ladies were pretty.
I will not recommend the film for viewing, it is just some wildness, instead of bloody murders, the viewer “enjoys” light eroticism, which sometimes flows into tasteless thrash. We went all the way down. Don't waste your time!!!
The film is based on mysticism. This time it's serious. He doesn’t remember where he came from or why he came to the house. But then it all clears up slowly. Play actors normal - from savages only so the guys ran away. This part is not so bloody and terrible. She's mystical. The palace in the film is just a tin - a mansion with ghosts. The scenery in the film is just a flight - the palace is simply amazing. And the savages became even more terrible on the face. In a word, the test kitten is out.
The film’s philosophy is as high as ever. Be smarter and more cunning than all the savages there. Or they'll eat you with guts. And remember your name. And the horror film teaches to overcome their complexes and phobias. Be brave, tough and interesting person in life. There you go.
Turn the wrong 6 is a great mystical part about savages. Good ending to the cannibal franchise. Watch everyone. Including me. I have nothing to complain about. This movie is amazing.
I can't believe Turning the Wrong Way has managed to grow into a long-running franchise. However, there is nothing wrong with this, especially for fans of the massacre.
So, the sixth part is another ode to unrestrained bowel movement. Cruelty and madness, blood and dismemberment are the eternal characteristic features of any “turn to the wrong place”.
This time, the authors tried to push a whole story into the film, aimed at justifying everything that happened in it. But do we not know how secondary the plot in such films? Especially since there is nothing special about the story. The main thing in such a movie, of course, is “urine”. And here it is worth noting that it turned out not worse than in previous times. True, some deaths are unnecessarily gabby, but in general, the scenes of murders are put on “hurrah”.
There is no need to expect more from such a film. Actors seem to be trying to play and someone even does well. That's enough. Do not expect serious drama from the film, and the one that is, you just will not hook. This film will be watched by those who have seen the previous five parts, which means they know what they will come here for – spectacular murders. And that they will see in abundance. And to all who pass by, pass by.
Turning the Wrong 6 is not a big screen movie or a huge box office movie. This is not a blockbuster, not a popular franchise. Turning the Wrong 6 is a movie that has a secondary priority when choosing evening leisure. And the previous five parts are not very different from their continuation.
But is everything so dull? Can you put an end to that?
- No.
As paradoxical as it may be, I love "The Wrong Turn" for its unobtrusiveness. There are no stars in the film, it does not “steal” money and pathos, there are no famous directors and producers, you will not see spectacular special effects here. The film does not promise to change your worldview to cinema, you do not sit down to watch it with some hopes and expectations of the new. To put it briefly and clearly, “Turn the wrong way” is a second-rate movie, but from a good point of view, which I have already described above.
The most important plus, which I would like to highlight, is that for the six parts of the "turn wrong there" holds its position and does not slide, and this is an achievement for such a long period.
I recommend this film if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, blockbusters, “expanding” the framework of the cinematograph and other pathos. This is a tight middle between thrash and quality, with which you can pleasantly pass the evening.

Declan seems to be baked. At first, sparked by the idea and generally beat it well in the three parts of the franchise, he spat on it and did not play with the nerves of critics. But then something amazing happened: the baton was intercepted by a little-known Bulgarian director. It is not known whether Milev really caught fire with the idea or just decided to fill his pocket on a well-known topic, but the fact remains that he will go down in the history of cinema as the director of “Turn Not There-6”. In the history of which cinema: American or Bulgarian?
What about the movie? The beginning is like “in the same spirit”: the viewer is shown what the creepy trinity of cannibals is capable of. However, to the uninformed viewer, these three will not seem like cannibals, so, a bunch of crazy people, playfully dealing with a couple in love who decided to make love in the woods. Well, there is no rest for lovers: at home - relatives, in the forest - cannibals!
It was an appetizer, in the spirit of O'Brien. But then begins the outright mockery not so much over the first part of the franchise, but over the entire franchise as a whole. The director, apparently, decided to surprise the viewer with a “terrific story”, which neither Lynch nor O’Brien could think of. But amazing this story can be called with a stretch. Actually, there is nothing amazing about it. There is nothing left of the franchise. Even cannibals are unconvincing. Solid, sorry, trachodrama, incomprehensible actions of the "victims", some rabid lust. In all this absurdity dissolved the original idea that formed the basis of the first turn. I will not be surprised that the seventh turn will remove Mikhalkov. However, it is already possible, without prejudice to the ruined franchise.
Back in 2003, the film Rob Schmidt “Turn the wrong way” was released. The film was received very warmly - in addition to positive reviews, the film paid off a little bit - and many viewers called the film "a good horror film." Unfortunately, real, strong and terrible horror movies are very rare, but when I watched “Turn the wrong way” for the first time, I was ready to attribute this film to this rarity. After the success of the first part, it was already clear that the horror film about the family of cannibals will not take long to wait, but it was released only after 4 years. And as the old legend goes that “the sequel is almost always worse than the original,” so it happened – the film could not recoup its budget, which was only $ 4 million, and only upset fans of the first film, who expected much more from the sequel. And then, as they say, went — went not the production of the film, and full stamping, with a tendency to cut more money with a smaller budget and a worthless plot. In 2009, the third part was released, in 2011 the fourth, and a year later the fifth part (which, well, just destroyed the series), but none could surpass the original of 2003. The lull did not last long, and already in 2014 the sixth “Turn the wrong way” was released.
The plot tells us about a hero named Danny, who suddenly becomes the heir to an ancient family. After picking up his friends, he travels to Hobb Springs, an abandoned hotel, where he is greeted by his brother and sister. So far, the company is entertaining and relaxing, but does not even suspect what is really happening in these places, and Danny will have to make a very difficult choice, where on one side are friends, and on the other – the family he has just found.
The director of this picture was Valery Milev, who currently has only 4 paintings (including this one). Perhaps Milev watched the past parts of this series of films, as in this picture, unlike the fourth or fifth, there is less thrash — there is less crazy dismemberment (although one scene was overdone), which was present in the early films. Milev noticeably tries to surprise us, make the film better and cleaner than its predecessors, and even adds drama to his tape, which of course does not interfere with the film, and makes the film even more noticeable than the fourth and fifth parts, but nevertheless at the end the film still begins to lose ground. The director did not have enough to show a certain sympathy for the characters - for example, in the first film this component was, and I watched the film, worried about the characters - there is no such thing and more sorry for the dead deer than some of the characters in the film. In general, Valeria Mileva should not be scolded for such a project, but there is nothing to praise it especially for, except for the "purification" of the film.
The same can be said about Frank Woodward's script - he goes uphill first, but then slaps sharply on the ground. What is it? Perhaps the fact that a horror film should represent a horror film, and not other genres. Yeah, I'm just talking about the vulgarity in the movie, which is a lot overdone here. It is funny that in the film our heroes did not get lost, but they get where they need to go. The script is weak, although it tries to give something new and be better than its predecessors, but the characters are written in haste, and some actions are completely strange. From the first “turn not there” in the picture there were only freaks – cannibals, as well as a yellow tow truck, which appears in almost every picture. That's it! If you were to replace these parts, you could easily make another movie and no one even guessed.
As in each new series, the main characters are new, and the maniac cannibals are old. I will not single out anyone from the entire cast, since in this film there is absolutely nothing to shine, and they do not deserve praise - they do not reveal their characters, do not express emotions (except for deadly torments and loud screams), there is some ... particles of talent , and it is not even that they are beginners or from lack of practice - some simply do not manage to play, enter the role, and this is not good. As I said before, I only felt sorry for one deer and that was it. Although, probably in films of this genre is not the main thing to worry about the characters, but to see how they are mockingly killed.
Total:
"Turn the wrong way 6" is a good idea to somehow remake the film for the better, get rid of the label "thrash" and go to the label "horror film". True, the film is weak, it needs the hand of a professional (yes, at least the same Schmidt, who managed to make a good horror film from the first time), as well as the firm hand of the screenwriter. If we talk about the good side, then this film is better than the previous 2 parts, which were saturated with murderous thrash, and if we talk about where I would put this series from the entire list, I would probably answer that 4 - after the first three of course, and even though they are not so good, but most importantly, they are adequate, and they well, at least somehow want to watch. I don’t know who to recommend this film to. Personally, I watched the sixth part because of the fact that I watched all five of the previous ones, and also hoped for a good horror movie. If you are eager to see, then please, and so I recommend revisiting the first part.
Thank you for listening!
Family and friends are not chosen. Commenting with Frank H. Woodward (writer of the film), it can be noted that even if these relatives are deprived of absolutely all human principles and characteristics. Even if they occasionally bite a human, drink hot blood and try to kill your friends, or your lover, for example. In general, this absurd horror film can be classified as a complete heresy.
It’s funny, guys, that new parts of this tale about the trio of invincible cannibals continue to shoot. Cannibal-Barbara is something. I think we should have stopped a long time ago. After the second episode, of course. To come up with this, long - long-outlived idea, there is simply nothing else. That is why the screenwriters (for this position always select the personalities of the doubtful, as I noticed) make up such a porridge that without hot drinks (and with them) it is simply impossible to understand. And if you pay your precious attention to this misunderstanding, you will understand it yourself. The murders of the victims have lost all their original charm, sliding into the most obscure plots. The victims themselves, from film to film, get dumber and dumber. But the “carnivorous trio” continues to arrange blood baths and eat the insides of naive weak people. Personally, I am very much outraged by one fact. Why, it is, cannibals are not taken by cold weapons or defensive actions of people, if you look at the previous films of the series, or at least an exact combination of blows to the head of dumbbells? I think many, like me, expect only one thing. So that, finally, someone from this gang will be destroyed to the delight of the audience. Ahn no. They still remain untouchable. They deserve to live, as their presence is necessary in endless passing sequels. However, in addition to murders and chases, which, by the way, are very few in the film, the director needs something to score timekeeping. That's an hour and a half. And since, as I said above, the writers, apparently, are not particularly active, and, and, do not want to strain, realizing the weight of the project, the rest of the time will be filled with anything. For example, the increased number of bed scenes. By and large, they are not mandatory here. Or, the questionable crazy sister from the Big Family, who is eager to satisfy her physiological needs. All these rites, rituals, bland talk. Why all this? I'll see if the writer has something wrong with his head. Here we go. Absolutely all the components here are in a deplorable state. This is a delusional lame script, and faceless characters, and a dull play of actors, which looks very hollow, even for the crafts of such bottling. Here, you should also include mediocre camera work, mediocre directing (Valery Milev himself, like no other), a complete absence of frightening moments. Yeah, yeah. Even here, nobody bothered to please us. No reason to tickle your nerves. Everything is clear and clear. Otherwise, everything happens according to a long-standing scheme, which is completely outdated. Blood is pouring out of a fountain. Legs and hands break off with stable frequency. Destined to be eaten, people drive themselves into a trap. And from time to time, the picture shows naked girls. All right, comrades. There's nothing else. And it couldn't have been, of course. Because, in our case, the saying is true: "The patient is long dead."
In general, the next “Turn” is another movement around its axis, in the same place. That is, expectedly a failure and depressing. I don't understand one thing, really. Are these films really profitable? Surely, they still have loyal fans and admirers. I hope the boys find the strength to close the project. Otherwise, all this is pretty much like insanity, bigotry and some kind of madness. I won't recommend it. No one. Savvy in the genre, obviously nothing worth it here. The rest of us are probably wasting time. In principle, each new “turn not there” is better to immediately bypass. And with each new chapter, I become more convinced of that. The only thing you can count on in the next film is a change of locations, perhaps a new batch of “cannon fodder”, which is already doomed to death in absentia. I sincerely wanted to find something for which to put an extra point - two. Except for the main character's girlfriend. But there is nothing special, in fact.
There is no need to run for prey - the extraction will come on its own
I never thought that the sixth part of the franchise (which is good only for its first film), albeit a little, but still rehabilitates this horror series in my eyes. That the director who shot the terrible “Code Red” will still bring “Turn the wrong way” to a slightly higher bar, albeit still not up to the level of decent quality. But there is progress.
The beginning of the film is banal: a company of friends, an inheritance, the suspicious kindness of the hotel owners. A game called “Who Will Survive?” has already been launched, although none of the guys suspect it yet. Everything about its outcome is known, of course, if you've seen the past parts, especially the last two or three. With incredible, savage cruelty, death in the face (or rather, in the face) of bloodthirsty-carnivorous half-human half-monsters will take everyone who yawns in time to himself. Chances to survive someone for sure, but better accept the rule of “turning the wrong way”: back no one is going. Or is it better to rely on the ingenuity and skill of the survivors? Well, it's your business.
The main thing is that in some ages the plot managed to get the upper hand over the amount of hard work being done. For some time, the expected and unexpected turns did not let you get bored. For some time cannibals and cannibalism are not celebrated with unshakable honors, but only push the development of events in the right fateful direction. There are even moments I really enjoyed here, like hunting a deer in the woods or (a little less) a fireside ritual. Even hints of eroticism appeared when necessary, and did not push into the screen with the appeal: “Look on your chest, you have never seen them!”. For horror everything was in moderation, but ...
But it's still gross. Many details should be omitted. When they are in sight, they are amazed by their obscenity and perversion (like a hose stuck in the anus). Freaks who eat humans are, as always, disgusting and disgusting. Their punishment of someone is the height of tastelessness (fortunately, this time it was not so much). But let’s imagine that there were no unpleasant episodes of a couple or three – they were beaten more subtly and restrained. Then I would even be grateful to this film, because at least there is an intrigue in it, which consists in seducing the main character, which occurs not once or twice, but gradually, without haste, which allows the script to gain the desired speed for the allotted screen time. And intrigue each time grows into something more, becoming a danger, and danger a fate.
The sixth “Turn the wrong way” is a crazy movie. But his abnormality now borders on some adequacy, with the awareness of the filmmakers of the indisputable truth: the viewer wants not only to see something, but also to compare it with a logical, thoughtful course of the script, fascinating enough to try (at least clenching his teeth) to forgive horror some shortcomings and irritating factors. I’m not at all sure that this rise will be the rule in the franchise, not the exception, because four times I’ve had to see the craziness of the previous installments. Until the seventh part was released, you need to quietly rejoice that the story about cannibals has taken a more intense breath, and try not to think about the fact that after some time the brave filmmakers are plucking another “Turn...”, which this time probably will not fit again.
About the movie “Turn the wrong way 6” already said a lot in other comments. I will try to contribute to the analysis of this film. First, about the blunders and inappropriate plot twists in the script: there are so many of them that you can not list everything, and there is no need, because many of them have already been described before. The film, as in some previous episodes, begins with an almost frank sex one young couple in the woods, which then falls to the tears of forest cannibals.
And then the plot tells about a sudden and mysterious inheritance that a young man is trying to get, having arrived for this purpose for some reason not alone, but with a whole group of friends in a luxurious mansion in the wilderness. Along the way, he tries to find out the truth about his cannibal relatives, about whom he has never heard anything. Weird. It is also strange that these monsters, we can say, tamed by the owners of the mansion, while in the first series they (monsters) lived on their own. It is noteworthy that these cannibals never say anything, only give inarticulate sounds, despite the fact that in some series at least one of them was visible language. They know what their owners are saying to them. In general, all sorts of absurdities and inconsistencies can be seen in the scenario a lot.
Second, in the film, along with scenes of murder, dismemberment and abuse of young people and girls, there is also an abundance of scenes with almost explicit sex of these same young couples. Fortunately, the director did not shoot in the genre of porn. But not yet evening: it seems that the 7th part of the film has already been announced.
In the end, I want to say that the film, in fact, turned popcorn. The main characters killed by cannibals are not particularly sorry. Another disadvantage is the low budget of the picture, which is noticeable to the naked eye. The plus here is, perhaps, the soundtrack and beautiful interiors of the mansion, where the main events unfold. Everything else is very weak and uncomplicated, there are enough flaws in the script, as already mentioned. In my opinion, this is a problem not only with Turning the Wrong 6, but also with many other horror films (and not only) for which “infinite” sequels have been shot or continue to be shot. Rarely, when several sequels stand the bar of quality of the original, i.e. part 1. As a rule, this is just an advertising move - to earn as much as possible from the film-continuation, hiding behind the "mark", the name of the original, which everyone has heard. The viewer, remembering the good quality of the first part of a film, "buys" for its continuation, which often leaves much to be desired. Of course not always. Apparently, Hollywood is now a crisis of the genre, there are no good scripts, so they shoot endless sequels and prequels to various movie hits of past years.
Conclusion: “Turn the wrong way 6” – a movie to watch for one evening, you can even watch it on the way home from work on a tablet or on some similar electronic gadget.
Another story ' Turn the wrong way' about a typical family of cannibals from Virginia - blood, sophisticated murders. Anyway, this story lost its horror genre as it was in the first two episodes.
Everything remained in its place - a group of young men (tasting prey) and three... no, even five cannibals as hunters. But anyway, the film turned out better than the previous three parts. The highlight was presented by the mansion itself, music and atmosphere. No horrors, of course. Perhaps many have the feeling when the victim is least worried and want to be killed as soon as possible, this is the case.
Danny, a character with a very difficult fate, no job, penny in his pocket, friends who are with him only for what he owes them, and a girl is a nanny. And then he gets an inheritance that he could not even dream of, and even more relatives about whom he did not know. It beckons him, fascinates him. . .
But not his friends. . .
First of all, they immediately throw themselves at the inheritance, and immediately begin to divide, and in every possible way trying to dissuade Denny from staying in this house, it is not natural for good intention. Theft of antiques - how else are these ' relatives' then they were not torn apart?!... and naturally everything came down to the fact that they ' escaped with a couple of souvenirs'. Perhaps at this point, the guys could save themselves and leave for good health. But what human stupidity, they remain to be torn apart by cannibals.
The film was not bad in its content, but it is far from the horror genre.
This is an amateur movie, but I recommend it.
About how the "turn wrong there" made a turn wrong there...
I would like to cover the 3, 4, 5 and 6 parts of this film. The fact is that, as I said earlier, the first part of “Turn the wrong way” was the main and key, which followed the best traditions of the slasher genre, but the second part came out like a good one, but something was missing in it, but you could watch it even like that. But what happened next? Perhaps the title affected the quality of the film in the future, everything went awry.
After spending half of my next weekend watching these empty 4 parts, I realized that I was right in the beginning and hoped for something good. No, of course, as a slasher, the movies are not bad, but they are terribly stupid and stupid.
I will refrain from retelling the plot , because everything is built on a banal pattern, people get into the forest, and then the meat grinder begins. The place may change, but the outcome does not. Cannibals tend to win, despite the fact that people have at least a head in place and they can soberly assess the situation. If you weigh it, people could beat the cannibals without a single loss, but no, it's a slasher, and in general the audience is demanding a lot of unreasonable rubil, so let's give them what they want! Or maybe they don’t want to, or maybe they don’t care at all.
Acts are selected mostly by strangers. Because for movies that come out straight on DVD, it's hard to pick up less normal actors. It seems that they play, but some especially want to take and show the way to acting courses. I can't say much about them. But it's 50 over 50.
In general, I can list the minuses of the series, which can not be overlooked, and these things are terribly annoying.
1. Cannibals don't feel pain? Then they can not be humans and generally cannibals, and that mutants only half. What are they then?
2. They are stupid and sometimes do not know how to open the door with a key, so they were able to make something like a portable drill.
3. Cops always die when they show up. Poor guys...
4. Nobody knows about the missing people. Disappearances occurred in different and almost unrelated places, but nevertheless, mass disappearances and at the same time pieces of bodies of the same disappeared, can not say anything.
5. Why are young people so stupid? Oh yeah, they're secondary characters, and the main ones are cannibals, but here's why? I don't understand that.
6. Cannibals? So they eat human flesh, so explain to me why kill people like that? What's going to change? And in general, how do they have such details and tools at hand to kill like this?
7. Are these mutants born from the incest of two completely healthy people?
8. The visual component, just like the idea of the whole series, is terrible.
9. How much is it? I only found out today about the existence of 5 and 6 parts and I regret that I found out.
10. Too much lust. It's not the right place.
My opinion:
The film series “Turn the wrong way” is just a shadow of the successful first part. The series has long gone in the wrong direction and continues to serve the viewer the same huge vile portion of cruel and unreasonable rubil, which apparently will never stop. At least glad that this garbage comes out on DVD immediately, and does not try to collect money at the box office, although there he would not collect it. And in general, my personal advice, if you want to watch a normal slasher, then I advise you to watch "The hills have eyes" and "Midnight Express", and if you want, watch them several times, along with the first turn.
In 2003, the year on the screens of the world came one of the best slashers called “Turn the wrong way”, describing the confrontation of young Americans, lost in the wilderness and a family of forest mutants, trade systematic killing of innocent tourists. A fairly simple idea was masterfully implemented and subsequently “Turn the wrong way” gained cult status. However, the box office of the tape could not please the producers, and therefore all subsequent sequels were released exclusively on video. The second part of the series, which received the subtitle “Stalemate”, turned out to be a surprisingly worthy project that was not inferior in anything to the original, and in some ways even surpassed it. And when it already seemed that all future stories about travelers who turned wrong will focus on the bar of quality of previous films in the director's chair was the notorious Declan O'Brien, whose filmography resembles a cesspool. Naturally, such an ambiguous personality tried to do everything so that the popular series fully corresponds to his specific views on art, and therefore “Turns not there 3, 4, 5” were distinguished by a double amount of primitive humor, all characters without exception could be compared with cardboard images, and all kinds of abomination and climbed into the frame from all sides, overshadowing the already weak script moves. Naturally, the producers could no longer watch the systematic destruction of the franchise, launching and living in the world of home video, and therefore O’Brien was replaced by a little-known but promising Bulgarian director Valery Milev, who gave us “Turn not there 6”.
So, the plot of the film takes us back to Appalachia, where the family of mutant cannibals has been engaged in a variety of atrocities for more than a decade. The new chapter of the series reveals to us hitherto unknown facts from the lives of mad villains. It turns out that they belong to a rich family that once inhabited the local territories and built a chic mountain hotel, whose feature is warm mineral springs used as a swimming pool for vacationers. Feeling their omnipotence and independence from the so-called human “rabble”, the rich decided not to dilute their blood with impurities and year after year mixed with each other. It is quite natural that sooner or later this lifestyle and led to the emergence of genetic mutants, which we were once introduced in the first film. The main character of the film is a young broker Danny (Anthony Illot), who suddenly received a notification that he is a co-owner of the same hotel in Appalachia and his newly-minted relatives are kindly waiting for him to visit. Deciding to combine the pleasant with the useful, Danny takes with him a company of friends, hoping to have a good rest and along the way to establish a warm relationship with his new family led by a charming sister Sally (Sadie Katz). But in the end, the hero will have to face the true reason for his appearance in the hotel and make perhaps the most difficult choice in life - to remain loyal to the family or help friends avoid a nightmarish death.
Valery Milev came to “Turn the wrong way” and immediately began to clean it. This time, do not expect to see in the frame frank thrash and listen to the next stupid jokes in the style of primary school age. The director decided to approach the matter with all seriousness and primarily focused on the first two best parts of the cycle. But at the same time, the franchise desperately needed a certain update and Milev expanded the well-known legend with some original moves, allowing later to shoot further “Turns Wrong There” without attachment to the failed works of his talentless predecessor. The main peculiar innovation that Milev produced is the shift of accents from a thoughtless bloody attraction to a family drama. The main character, Danny, becomes a victim of a conspiracy, whose goals, of course, are known to us literally from the first minutes of watching, but the director decided to withstand a certain intrigue and revealed all his cards at the very end. Of course, it did not work out to impress us with the true purpose of the hero’s stay at Valery Milev’s hotel, but Danny’s unexpected transformation cannot but impress. Of course, the filmmakers could have given us their story in a much more consistent and logical tone, but do not forget that we are watching “The Wrong Turn”, in which moderation was never welcomed.
Not without the return of our old friend, the Three-toed. The lively mutant has become a real symbol of the franchise and goes from one series to another without getting any special injuries. If you forget him for some reason, I will remind you that he wears a bright shirt with a long sleeve, shoots from a bow and laughs nonstop. An interesting fact is that in each new film Three-toed play different actors. This time it was embodied Radoslav Parvanov. And the only drawback in his image is completely artificial makeup. In all other respects, the Three-Palestine cannot be made any claims - he used to chase through the forests, laugh and shoot accurately. However, not only mutants rich in this film. So an important role in the plot is played by the charismatic manager of the Jackson Hotel performed by Chris Jarvis. He is connected by a rather difficult relationship with Danny’s sister, Sally, who was played by not well-known, but memorable actress Sadie Katz. Together they form a strong duo in which there is a place and duty, friendship and even lust.
But, of course, without the traditional for the franchise dirt still did not do, but it became an order of magnitude less. The genre of slasher does not suggest sterility, but too much with bloody limbs and torn insides of the picture is also useless. And Valery Milev, to our delight, still managed to find a balance between drama and cheap rides, which previously failed to succeed in the hated millions of Mr. O'Brien. Another feature of “Turn the wrong way 6” is a lot of intimate scenes in which the actresses involved were exposed to the maximum. And if you evaluate this from a male point of view, then Valery Milev, of course, deserves applause, because he tried to make sex the real art, with special attention emphasizing all the delightful advantages of the female team of the film. But do not count on special revelations, because the picture is primarily a slasher, but not a video for adults.
In the end, I want to say that "Turn the wrong way 6" is an order of magnitude better than the previous four films of the franchise, but for all its merits, director Valery Milev still failed to achieve a high bar of the first two films, the main decoration of which was skillfully embodied in life scenario simplicity. But, one way or another, this picture returns the series somewhat dimmed popularity, and therefore we are waiting for the next part with the best forebodings. So, according to tradition, we remove children from screens and enjoy the feast of immortal mutants who do not think to stop!

For me, the best films in the franchise “Turn the wrong way”, is the first and third part. The first part was so good that the sequels did not take long to wait, the released sequel titled “Turn the wrong way 2: Deadlock”, can not be called good, stupidity and idiocy there in bulk compared to the first, then the third part came out, which I did not pin any hopes on, but to my surprise it turned out to be one of the best in the franchise! A little later came out two sequels, which were "shit on crap" After watching the last fifth, I realized that the end of the franchise was perfect and one hundred percent.
But no, in 2014, another sequel to this much-loved franchise comes out and that the most important thing is that the director changes from Declan O’Brien, who survived everything he could from “Turns” to Valery Milev, a little-known director whose high-profile projects, consider nothing. Except for "Reboot" with Adkins. And we must give credit to some innovations he brought to the franchise and most importantly they are positive.
First of all, the plot of the picture suggests:
In search of a sudden and mysterious inheritance, Danny and his friends find themselves in Hobb Springs, an abandoned resort in the mountains of West Virginia. Soon, Danny learns that his relatives, whom he never knew, led a rather strange lifestyle based on cannibalism. Danny will have to choose between friends and family.
The first circumstance related to the plot, which pleases me, is that the creators of this picture do not deceive us with a synopsis and do not mislead us, or sometimes write one thing, but in fact quite another, although incorrectly expressed: “in fact there is nothing.” The second circumstance that pleases is a new look at the picture, a new plot if you will! For “Turns” this plot is quite original and opens up new facets of this franchise, which cannot but please. The third circumstance is for some time, not so predictable movie, well, relatively unpredictable compared to the previous two parts. In addition to the plot, there are things that did not like in the first place the action, some it is not too catchy, not atmospheric! I didn’t like the actors, very bad.
In general, not to say that it is good, but not to say that it is a completely bad movie. Milev came up with the plot is not much different and did not beat again, which is already beaten. This added color and stirred interest in the franchise. We are waiting for the seventh part!

Is it a blood relationship? We're all brothers and sisters.
Tire screeching, brake pedal going to the floor, desperate scream from the driver's seat, kick. For a minute the forest falls silent and the silence seems deafening, but here in the depths of the forest there is a mad laughter emitted by creatures that have long lost their human appearance. The surviving passengers are desperately trying to get out of the car, but the door handle stuck and as soon as the unfortunate thoughts come to mind - to break the glass, they notice that next to the car there is a two-meter figure, that clutching a bloody axe in their hands demonstrates something remotely resembling a smile, only rotten hemps of teeth, a forked tongue and a feverish shine in the eyes unillusion that it would be better for passengers to die immediately, and now it is too late. Approximately this is how all the films from the cycle “Turn the wrong way”, but that’s only our current guest is not like this. Oh, no, the franchise had a new director, and with him came a change, only were they good? Well, let's figure it out. So this is "Turn the wrong way 6: The Last Resort."
A young boy Danny, who never knew his real parents and who recently lost his job on Wall Street, decides to take advantage of the offer of his distant relatives and come with friends to the Hobb Springs hotel. I must say that we met the young people very warmly. That's just the intentions of the owners of the hotel were far from good, as they want Danny to join their family, the family of cannibals.
Honestly, the previous films authored by Declan O’Brien inspired fear and horror due to the fact that in his paintings the atmosphere was limp on both legs, the acting was mediocre, to put it mildly, the plot in each subsequent sequel contradicts everything that we saw in previous films, and with the laws of logic and common sense, his films generally refused to be friends. What a surprise it was that with such a low rating, the sixth part of the franchise was able to collect flattering reviews from my respected colleagues that souls do not like in horror films. Naturally, as a person who is not indifferent to this genre, I could not pass by, hoping that Valery Milev really helped the film to rise from its knees. Did he make it? Of course not! Not only did he not help the franchise get back on its feet, he released a queue from a machine gun into the throbbing creature in agony, and then prescribed a nail gun control to the head. Does that sound too unfounded? Well, in that case, I have no choice but to give a couple of examples.
Let's talk about the story first. So, we have a former mental hospital from the fourth part, which was rebuilt into a grand hotel. Not bad, huh? This is especially good due to the fact that people are constantly disappearing near this place, and only one policeman lives in the city, who does not blow in his mustache. You know, it's one thing when people go missing on the roads and nobody's looking for them, and it's another when people go missing near one particular place. In this case, the hotel, where dozens, if not hundreds, come every year. Such an incident arouses both interest from the authorities and the unwillingness of people to come to the hotel where people are missing. Really, who's going to that place? However, everyone takes this for granted and this is not a concern.
I also don’t know where the other relatives came from. The director simply introduced a whole community of cannibals into the narrative and found it normal. Well, there is an immortal trinity of cannibals that we remember from the first film of the franchise and who in terms of survival can give a head start to Jason Voorhees, but where did the brother and sister come from? After all, this did not allow himself even if he was three times wrong, Declan O’Brien, who, if he introduced a new cannibal, in our case the father of this terrible family, then tried to somehow explain his appearance in the plot. All right, you might think that these claims are far-fetched, dear viewer, in the end, a teenage horror movie is getting dumber every year, so what kind of logic can we talk about? So what do we have left?
Oh, heroes! Characters with template characters, template names and no less template phrases, cut as if under a carbon copy! So what will please the viewer of this film? Perhaps he will be able to please the viewer with the same vivid and memorable characters that were in the first part of the franchise? Yeah, he can. And then it will. No, dear friends, there are no heroes in this film who could cause at least some feelings for the simple reason that the characters of the picture do not have any characters. Actors for the most part do not even try to play, well, with the exception of the aforementioned brother and sister, who are terribly overplaying and want to kill these clowns. At least someone.
What else? The atmosphere? Pff, forget it. For most of the film, nothing happens. No one is trying to heat up the atmosphere with rustles, creaks, or the fact that cannibals watch the main characters, or even music. And yes, there are a lot of bed scenes, to be exact, four pieces, only if earlier such scenes emphasized the fact that the film is not a children's and that the characters of the picture are living people with their feelings and desires, then in this film they were inserted, just to be. Thus, there is no oppressive atmosphere in the film, but only cardboard characters who die in a strictly allotted period of time splashing walls, ceiling and other characters with artificial blood, beauty!
So what's the end result? And in the end, we have a film that tries in every possible way to look like a serious drama, but thanks to the fact that preschoolers were responsible for the script, and people who do not understand what they want from them were invited as actors, then what happens, namely, a gray and lifeless film in which there is nothing remarkable and the best thing you can do, dear viewer, is to bypass this film.
The cannibal family continues to operate in the forests of Virginia. And in spite, a young guy Danny went there, who wanted to inherit a huge hotel located in the middle of the forest. Of course not alone. The cannibals, feeling the approach of fresh meat, did not keep themselves waiting, but their ultimate goal is much more prosaic than simply killing Danny and his company.
Valery Milev took up the sixth part of the franchise this time, and apparently realizing that it is not necessary to rape the plot already tortured in the franchise, and therefore decided to isolate his film from the previous parts, they say fresh breath into a rather stale grave. To be honest, I wish he hadn’t done that.
The sixth part is distinguished from the previous one by the big fact that she renounced the madness and thrashing, interspersed with the black humor that haunted us throughout almost all films (except the first). I think it's okay. A serious direction would probably really lift the series a little bit. But, unfortunately, returning the movie to a serious rhythm, Milev made the movie even more boring and sometimes ridiculous spectacle than other films.
In the first ten minutes there is the spirit of the old parts. Blood, brutal murder, forest. At first it really seems that the movie will be at least a caretaker, but then all this disappears. Most of the film takes place in a huge hotel - a kind of reference to the fourth part, but only if in the fourth in the walls of an abandoned mental hospital maniacs arranged a real "furnish", then here - verbal "furnish". Numerous dialogues, through which the authors for some reason present the characters, reveal their characters and thereby allow the viewer to take these characters for granted. In addition, behind all the dialogues and a few actions, the writer gradually reveals to the viewer the main intrigue, which strongly touches on the topic of the origin of cannibals in the forest. I want to say that the theory is interesting, but it has two drawbacks: it contradicts the first films, and with this disclosure, the director forgets one important detail - he shoots a slasher, not a thriller.
All of this has led to some pretty rare murders that happen in the beginning, in the middle, and in the end. What is characteristic is that at the same time, the creators push our favorite “trinity” into the background, promoting the dubious owners of the hotel. The murders themselves rarely fade, and some completely shift the movie from the stage of “seriousness”, so sometimes it is unclear what the director shoots: undynamic and rolling into more frank nonsense than before thrash, or serious slasher with undisguised elements of eroticism? Question.
The acting game is quite mediocre, and does not leave any feeling. The actors played as well as they could, neither good nor bad.
“Turn the wrong way 6” is a sequel that has only one advantage: it practically reveals the essence of the origin of the cannibal family. But, at the same time, the authors unfortunately forgot that they are filming the continuation of the thrashy series. Boring, inconspicuous, not cheerful, but filmed not bad spectacle.
A new look at the series, this is the wrong turn. Turn to failure.
Everything happens in life for the first time. The veracity of this unshakable statement had to be convinced by a young and agile guy Danny, who did not know that he was the heir to a large property - movable and immovable, located on the territory of the forgotten and abandoned Virginia mountain resort Hobb Springs. Going to an unfamiliar address, but clearly seduced by countless riches, in the company of friends, Danny will have to learn a lot of interesting things not only about himself, but also about his distant relatives, at the same time trying to remain physically alive and mentally healthy, morally whole and spiritually unharmed.
Ideally and ideally, the cannibal franchise “Turn the wrong way”, started eleven years ago by director Rob Schmidt and very successfully fit into the canon of modern postmodern horror films, continuing the dialectic of cannibalism, but without explicit anthropology in favor of fleshy exploitation, should have ended with brilliance (but it turned out that with a deafening crackle) in the fifth part of the 2012 release, which in fact easily scored the axe of predictability and total stupidity in the head of the entire history of the hellish family, adoring human torturers. Space for possible artistic maneuvers no longer remained even in the future, even on the periphery, since with each new part of the “Turn the wrong way” the plot of the paintings overgrown with a beard of spherical idiocy and grotesque, and violence, with all its extravasate excessiveness, obviously lost all charm of the old school, becoming comic. Fat point, finita. . But greed, exploitation and a keen desire to squeeze all the juice out of the corpses and their ugly but pretty eaters prevailed over common sense, logic and a sense of self-preservation, resulting in the film 'Turn the Wrong 6': The last resort of 2014, shot under the leadership of the Bulgarian pepper from the world of low-budget directing Valery Milev, who in 2013 managed to quite loudly declare himself in the narrow-profile world of non-medium Bi-Movie strong action movie "Red Code" and not yet reached the cinema screens post-apocalyptic zombie action "Reboot", so far with the success of fighting at genre festivals, which, however, happened with the "Turn there 6", which received the right of the first spectorial night at a number of major and prestigious horror festivals in Sweden, starting from Fright and finishing the festivals.
However, throwing stones into the garden of a Bulgarian citizen, fortunately, this time it is not worth it in view of the fact that the sixth unsuccessful turn turns out to be so bad and useless, having not only a bit of common sense, a pinch of logic, but also a decent mass for any self-respecting representative of meat horror, who is also permanently at the genre crossroads between a libertine slasher with a mandatory set of oceans of blood and silicone rivers and brutal in its unpunished hiccup of logic, but also a decent mass for any frankly thirstickish choralistic audience from a frankly choralistic point of view of sexual violence, and a less effective choralistic choralism.
Such a relatively small creative baggage Milev, however, balances the developed director's talent to create even out of ugliness something intelligible, and the presence of redemptive self-irony, which gives all his films, including the sixth "turn wrong there" shade of simplicity, ease, ease and playfulness. Especially acute and bright, spicy and erotic in the new picture Milev appears the latter, giving the plot of the picture - very secondary and not to say original, but it is also important how everything is told, and not that - the half-tone of enchanted convention, which you want to believe simply after the fact, because "The Last Resort" is no longer a hopeless thrash, devoid of at least any fleur of identity, author's sequence, narrative vivacity, integrity, finally, which was not even a trace in the previous three parts, sometimes solved in completely wild forms of subgeners.
Milev boldly shifts, and then completely changes the angles of the narrative, starting the film even too traditionally, but briskly. In the future, Danny’s story will acquire, if not depth, but saturation for sure, while the main characters will cease to be just expendable material and archetypal hollow figures. The past will mingle with the present and the future, the most difficult problem of choosing between the very bad and the simply bad will arise, and the close connection of generations will turn into a stranglehold around the neck. Instead of bizarre thrashiness, a bizarre drama about carnivorous beliefs cultivated for centuries, about evil that does not sleep, but listens.

A young guy Danny unexpectedly receives an inheritance in the form of a historic and healthy mansion in the wilderness of Virginia, and in order to have a good rest in the warm company of his comrades, he makes a visit to his new shack, but they did not know that once this building was in the possession of a clan of cannibals whose descendants do not want to share their property.
No one knew that the typical, but quite atmospheric and interesting slasher "Turn the wrong way" in the future will get a more ambitious and suitable DVD sequel "Turn the wrong way 2: Deadlock", but no one expected that in the future the infamous thrashmaker Deklan O'Brien will remove one direct sequel and two prequels, which, according to most, are the most controversial and weak seme to this genre of films, which the new part of the franchise, is completely obligated to the 6th of which the filmmakers, from the beginning of this year, the filmmaker, is not obliged to watch the film "Fright".
Surprisingly, this part is neither a prequel nor a sequel, but a rebuke spin-off, based on a completely different and unheard-of chapter that will finally reboot the whole idea of the cannibal slasher series, and give a completely new story with new tense events, heroes, and of course, beloved by all the brothers-cannibals with new motives for Danny’s company.
From the first minutes of our heroes’ arrival in this sanatorium, it becomes clear that Valery was clearly inspired by the idea of the recent “Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D”, that in combination with the script “Woodrowf” in the best traditions of lovecraftism looks so atypical for this cycle, but everyone admits that it is much better and more interesting than watching a primitive and thoughtless thrashak, where common sense and the primitive atmosphere of horror are replaced by thoughtless profuse bloodshed, but in this plot there, there is a completely different twist of the film, but the film does not have a full interest in the film, but the film with a complete sadness of the film, which does not have a new film, of course, the film, but it is a full of the film that the film, which the film, which is not a full of the film, which the film, the film, the film, which is not a complete atmosphere, the film, but it is quite interesting in the film. Also, the second drawback is the processing of the above scenario: the benefit in this part of the authors deprived the tape of most stupid actions and stamps, but the storyline itself is not fully developed, and leaves a slightly raw aftertaste of the untold story, and I hope in the future this ailment will be corrected, and of course, by adding to the film a sufficiently large number of moments of sex (for whom how), which the operator savors with obvious lustful curiosity, and immediately you see that these moments were stuffed during the period of anorexia, explicit ideas for staging entertainment.
Of course, after Declan’s failed opuses, the studio clearly shortened the budget to extremely low standards, which is evidenced by the general technical quality of the middle category, but the authors did not lose heart, as evidenced by a sufficiently high-quality mutant makeup close to reality, and preserving the former concepts of cannibals from the first parts, and of course, the bloody Maccabre theater of the massacra, where death burns to the fullest: the murders turned out quite bloody, cruel, original and a little shocking (one of the latest murders will clearly be remembered by you for its nauseness), and with all this they look real and do not look like a classical accormation, only in the use of the computer).
Unlike the previous parts and types of “typical degraded teenagers”, the characters have become more branched, interesting and have their own views, and the actors themselves have coped with the saturation of these images for all 100: the young debutant Anthony Ilott gave a confident start in his career, because the guy plays in an acceptable framework of the genre, without replaying and attracting his artistic charisma, accompanying him also Rollo Skinner, Sadie Katz, Aquilla Zolla, Azola, is a potential infozova, and Pyazova for a new performance
Claude Foisy, what do you do in composers? This person proved himself by the projects of his friend Declan O'Brien, and the hike he is only a friend, since in this part there is no accompaniment, as in the previous parts, and unfortunately, the same failure with the unnamed operator: the quality of the picture, although quite colorful and clear, but the manner of shooting and visual transmission of the campaign made a firm emphasis only on dismemberment and sex, and immediately recalls the funny proverb "whoever hurts, he says that," so I would advise this operator to either choose a movie or to shoot from the category of cinema.
Bottom line: “Turn the wrong way 6” is a rather specific and dual picture: on the one hand, the film differs from previous fakes, and wins in terms of plot ideas, but this picture is not perceived as part of the franchise “Turn the wrong way”, and rather wins as an independent slasher, and of course, low budget and lack of general professionalism affected the quality of the tape not for the better, but this experiment I liked something and I recommend it to fans of the previous series and fans of the genre, and I think this segment of the cannibal-movie cycle will find both fans and fans.

P.S.: We are waiting for part 7 in 2015, and we hope that the authors will go on the right bright path.
P.P.S.: If you look closely, you can notice an interesting detail: for the internal basis of the Hobb Springs sanatorium took the halls of an abandoned psychiatric hospital, which filmed 4 parts.
Everyone who is familiar with the franchise PNT, perfectly remember the excellent first part. Everything was in place, the script, the actors, the director. It was perfect! It seemed that after such a success, a series of good continuations would follow, there were prerequisites for this. However, the director changed and everything went really wrong, the second and all 3 parts, shot by Declan’O Brian (3,4,5), were very weak and made to be disappointed with the release of each sequel. And here came the sixth, directed by Valery Milev. If you look at his work, and there are very few of them, you can see that they are not the best quality, although the picture “Reset” was not bad. And now Milev took on the PNT. And what came of it?
I don’t think it’s a revelation that the script is similar to the 2013 Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Thus, using it, Milev decided to take a different look at the franchise PNT. The first 10 minutes remind us of the previous parts and it seems that everything will be the same. But. That wasn't it. The very concept of the film has completely changed, if earlier cannibals decided everything themselves and killed everyone in a row, now they only do their job on the orders of their relatives. Yes, and the role of cannibals has become smaller. You say in the fifth, they were given orders. But what O’Brien gave us was more like a comedy, with a three-fingered man laughing all the time (just for that, Declan should have been banned from horror movies forever). In the sixth, everything is different, in a new way. And finally there was a plot that is not just based on the fact that went “wrong” and running screaming in the woods, and a new highlight, although as I wrote above, the script was copied, but in my opinion, he finally moved the franchise from a dead point. There's a new playground. I am looking forward to the seventh part. With hope for the best.
I want to highlight a good game of actors, a new branch in the development of the franchise. Of the brightest minuses, I think this is too much with erotic scenes, there are really many of them and there are seconds when you think, and what am I even watching? And the second drawback is the small budget, in the first minutes of the film it seemed that the picture was made in painte, but then it seemed to get better and better. Still, a small budget in some aspects also influenced the perception of the new part.
To sum up, I will say this, I will not advise ardent fans to watch this part, because I think some people may be disappointed with the new concept. I'm happy that Declan O'Brien left the project, stop making fun of him.

I was glad to see something new, a new look, a new reading. Definitely better than before, but before the first, like the moon, on foot.
