Good and simple. Unexpectedly nice movie. Completely unknown creation of little-known director John G. Adolfi turned out to be a good film for the whole family.
What the movie is about: It is worth noting that the description of the film is not quite correct. The millionaire did not suspect anyone, the main character wanted at least once to have dinner with the whole family at one table, so he decided to resort to a small trick.
Admittedly, the film turned out a little implausible. There are no obstacles, conflicts, overcomings or double bottoms; everything is simple and straightforward. This is the story of an unusual person. It is hard to believe this story.
If the main character was from the middle class, a simple worker who was fired from his job, then this story would look more harmonious.
Also pleased with the little-known actor - George Arliss. Good character and game.
In general, this is a simple, but good movie.
If you want something more serious, I can recommend a film from the same director and actor, The Man Who Played God (1932).
