'Anger' by Daniel Daryo What a pity that some films remain unknown to the Russian audience. Modern TV series offer a choice of a variety of voiceovers: choose - do not want. But the good old movie remains beyond the language barrier.
The painting “The Wrath of Paris” will appeal to all those who love the atmosphere of luxury that reigned in Hollywood films of the 1930s. Luxury apartments, social lions and lioness, fur coats, shining dresses, rich suitors and, like a cherry on a cake, Douglas Fairbanks Jr. The plot, on the one hand, is quite simple: a girl with perfect appearance, a Frenchwoman, can not find a job in the cruel Big Apple. Good friends come to her aid, advising her, “Look not for a job, but for a millionaire fiancé.” And then, according to the law of the genre, a rich bachelor appears, at the disposal of which is half of Canada. Of course, he is not only influential and wealthy, but also attractive. It would seem that everything goes according to plan ... but the friend of the potential husband is the only person in the city who can tell him the whole truth about the attractive Frenchwoman. What will happen next?
I didn't say "on the one hand" for nothing. There are some rather original moments in the film. First, the actress who played the main role in the film is Daniel Darier. The girl almost did not star in Hollywood: she preferred to stay in her native France. To see her among the scenery of the Dream Factory is a great luck. Second, humor. In the picture there is not only intrigue and love, but also laughter. Interesting scene dating Daria and Fairbanks Jr., which the Director harmoniously repeated at the end of the film. Thirdly, the tricks that the heroine Daria so easily showed her “guardian”, or the ever-closing window, which dotted all the i in this story.
In general, I recommend watching. But be careful: the film makes you believe in a fairy tale. It will make you more distant from the real world.
