By 1966, Frankenstein’s grandsons (although the name indicates a daughter) were also in use. Brother and sister Frankenstein hide from the Austrian police in a small Mexican village. My grandfather’s experiments continue, this time with local children.
Children, however, flimsy and quickly break down, so Mrs. Frankenstein wants a man, but more, to make him a monster.
Parallel to the story of a very fast shooter Jesse James, hiding in Mexico from justice. While James behaves peacefully and earns on boxing fights, the blessing of his partner, a very strong guy, a boxer. And then James was offered to rob the cash register on favorable terms. He agrees, unaware that it is a trap. As a result, Jesse miraculously managed to make legs, but his friend was wounded and James brought him to the house where the doctors lived, those Frankensteins. In general, the perfect specimen arrived in the hands of scientists.
The film has poor ratings, but it’s not really that bad. To combine Western and science fiction, in my opinion before this film, no one thought. Yes, it's a template Frankenstein story, but with shooting and cowboys, which makes it unusual. Plus there are some very interesting actors. Mrs. Frankenstein was played by Estonian actress Narda Onyx, whose father in the USSR was considered a war criminal. The monster was played by a simple road worker. Well, this is the last role for the aspiring Cuban actress Estelia Rodriguez, immediately after filming went through with drugs.
