It's really tempting. But only for the long-eared executioner. Even after seeing fragments of the long series about Bugs Bunny, I did not lose hope that there would be at least something good in it. After all, the series, which spawned more than 160 episodes, should be at least partially good. The 150th edition finally proved me wrong.
What do you know about madness? The creators of the Bugs Bunny series know this very well. Because no one else could create such a crazy episode and call this nightmare a children's cartoon. What is happening in it is quite difficult to understand, because everything here flashes so quickly that eyes run away. As far as you can understand, Bugs goes back in time (not the first time, by the way, so there is nothing unusual here) and promises some dwarf red beard a million currency for the fact that he will host Bugs himself for a short time. Stop. We've seen it somewhere before. Well, of course, in one of the earliest episodes, when Bugs, taking advantage of a similar helplessness of a hunter, began to terrorize his house.
So yes, it's the same series, but in a new way. From the above, it differs only in the set of traps that are used against Bugs. I think now I understand what inspired the creators of the franchise Saw. They were inspired by Bugs Bunny cartoons. What only lethal means are used against each other by the characters of the animated series! It's axes, a disguised dip into the abyss, and the worst torture of all time - deprivation of sleep. The conclusion is obvious: Bugs is an executioner with experience, who only in retirement works part-time on the set in cartoons.
In fact, it is difficult to comment on anything else, because Bugs remains in his image as a sadist, and the new villain is a template character that can be seen in many American animated series of the time. And which should not be in children's cartoons, by the way.
