Erotissimo Gerard Pires There is probably no viewer who has not seen the movie Taxi. Little is known about its director Gerard Pires. He filmed a lot in the '70s and then moved into commercial advertising. And then, in the very mature years of the director, the film Taxi was released.
Erotissimo is one of Pires’ first works. In the center is Annie Girardot, a wife experiencing a crisis in family relations. She looks at erotic advertising. Jealousy towards her husband is compensated by attempts at adultery. . .
But the story itself is secondary. Every minute of Pires’ story includes several plans. Pires offers an unexpected clip aesthetic for those years. The frames are constantly changing. In their alternation can be seen a separate semantic component.
So, I tend to consider the tape as a bold experiment and a pen test. They were successful and showed the talent of Pires. Obviously, the author wanted to show something new, rebellious in form and different from the "grandfather" movie.
But the film itself does not benefit from this. The plot is devoid of sharpness, the characters of Annie Girardot and Jean Jann are devoid of volume. Is it interesting to watch a video lasting more than an hour? That is why the rating is low.
