Moral ambiguity Gradually it becomes impossible to watch a masterpiece movie. If the film has some artistic merits and begins to shine with them, it almost does not differ from an aggressive entertainment product. “Informant”, in the best traditions of rarities, found on a cassette in Perm! The plot is based on the story of Helena Schwerzel, who in 1944 recognized Karl Goerdeler, a participant in the assassination attempt on Hitler, in a hotel visitor, and wrote a denunciation. Togo was found in the woods and hanged in 1945. Helena receives a million marks from the Fuehrer, but does not spend, and in 1946 she was sentenced to 6 years for denunciation (there are no executioners). The film begins with the difficult post-war life of Helena (Katharina Talbach), in which the criminal police unexpectedly appear (Marquard Bohm in the late period plays villains due to alcohol problems). Her lawyer (Hans Zishler) is a friend of Goerdeler. Only in the second half of the action falls into a colorful military world. A young photographer (Christophe Eichhorn) shoots a smiling Helena for the press. The best German actors play, but the mediocre work of the director leaves space for the audience to search.
