Movie heroes. Captain Blood. Pirate Captain (1952) Captain Blood, having received a pardon from the English king, leaves the pirate trade and lives a happy family life with Isabella. But someone, using his name, is engaged in sea robbery and Peter is forced to take up the old and figure it out.
The sequel to the unsuccessful film of 1950 uses the same actor duo Louis Hayward as Captain Blood and Patricia Medina as his beloved Isabella. Like the previous picture, this one uses only the name of the hero of Sabatini’s books, referring to them only indirectly.
I must say that the picture looks a little better than the previous one. Still, the color film added entertainment to the film (the tape of 1950 was black and white). True, again a lot of talk and not enough dynamics. But still, this picture seemed more interesting than the first film. Although it is still just an average representative of the genre. But for fans of pirate themes you can get acquainted (while the first picture is not necessary to watch, this film is quite independent, although in a couple of scenes it refers to the tape of 1950).
