Cunning versus Love... A classic Indian family melodrama - where duty comes first and everyone is so noble, generous! I really liked Anupam Kher, especially when paired with Mithun. The villains also pleased - such sincere turned out, natural. And the incomparable Kader Khan - his seemingly comic character did not seem superfluous at all.
Not many people like Indian cinema. Previously, in the 80s - 90s, everyone rushed to the cinemas for these films.Indian films are always with a deep and vital meaning. They encourage men to exploit and only for the sake of love for the girl and justice. The main character of the picture, the headman of the village Ravi, like all normal people, wanted simple life happiness with his beloved girl. But death has torn them apart, and he has to learn to live without it. It's incredibly hard. They are forced by relatives to marry again. What does he have to do? Only one person in the family, the father of the deceased wife, truly loves him as his own son and wishes him true happiness.
Indian cinema is the most amazing cocktail, created from a riot of colors, traditional Indian songs, dances, and passionate emotional intensity. As a rule, the plots are simple, naive, but we are still attracted to the magic of Bollywood. Indian cinema tells about such values as love and revenge, a tendency to simplicity, expression of feelings, attitude to life.
The actors were incredibly pleased. Especially my favorite Mithun Chakraborty, as always the upper class. What a man, my heart just freezes when I look at him. And Anupam Kher is incomparable here. His character, the father of Chanda, the deceased wife Ravi, is a very kind, sympathetic, decent person who has experienced much grief in life. But he was not angry, he was kind to people. Sadashiva Amrapurkar again in the role of a scoundrel. But, his scoundrel is always of a special kind, cunning and insidious like a fox, always acting out of cover, striking in the back. It is always very unpleasant and unpleasant.
The music and dance are excellent. I really love this movie. I review it periodically. All fans of classical Indian cinema will love it.
