It’s a great movie in all respects! If factory Hollywood fakes like “legends” with Tom Hardy and “black masses” with Johnny Depp seem to you unnecessarily far-fetched and unnatural, then you clearly do not belong to the number of those who blindly trust the opinion of the majority and watch all the nonsense that is presented in the American Celestial Empire as a genre crime film of the highest class.
Pretty tired of such works of art, I wandered in ignorance through the vast desert spaces of world crime cinema, when quite unexpectedly I came across a treasure.
Now about the movie itself. The film, from whichever side you look at it, is great. Sonny Chiba is brilliant and he is not alone in this film! Dialogue is good. Violence on the screen overwhelms with its naturalism and sophistication, its ingenuity, its immediacy, is so overwhelming that American films will seem to you Saturday morning in the children’s creative home. Cheerful fights, stunned shootouts, beautiful Japanese women, hilarious sometimes episodes, amazing narrative emancipation, which is rarely found in films - all this and much more awaits you in this excellent criminal action movie.
As a writer, I say that the review was written hastily and written pretty badly, and I don’t care! I write it with one sole purpose: so that you passing by connoisseurs of authentic cinema, after reading this modest review, be sure to watch the film and write your reviews, so that the brightest representatives of the genre receive fame and do not vegetate in the hopeless darkness of gray oblivion.
So, the film is a little lacking filigree, but nevertheless he deserved 8, because for 7 too good!
And by the way, the review refers to the 1st part of the “Matrix Yakuza”, which is originally called “Yakuza deka”, while the 2nd is called “Yakuza deka: Kyofu no doku gasu”. But here, the resource is slightly confused and the 1st part is marked as
Yakuza Female 2: Hired Murderer, but it’s okay.
