I'll tell you right away, it's a good movie. In the beginning, quite often there are songs, but by the middle of the first series, the plot begins to twist and develops more rapidly.
The youngest son of a wealthy lawyer went against his father’s wishes and decided to devote his life to music rather than practicing law as his father wished. Both are stubborn and do not want to give in. Father (Om Prakash) is used to having all his words fulfilled without question. The youngest son (Amitabh Bachchan) left the house and began to earn a living from the carriage.
The film illustrates the plight of the poor, the desperation with which they live. There are no obvious villains and superheroes here. And no fights. There are no stupid scenes with a claim to humor. Which often spoils generally not bad Indian movies. So there's not much to pick on. The actors are doing a great job. Of course, Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha (here she plays the wife of the main character), Oma Prakash... A small but very touching role here is played by Sanjiv Kumar. All in all, well done. I recommend watching.
