The Book of Ruth on the Modern Way Terrible film... Completely improbable played and the plot also leaves much to be desired. It's one name from Christianity. It seems that the actors have never suffered in their lives - none of them could play a dramatic mood - only grins. And who has ever thought to put on the roles of hungry people fed, glossy, well-groomed and blindingly happy actors?? Although, perhaps, just makeup worked poorly or money for makeup was not enough. However, Naomi lipstick and cosmetics of other actresses are very noticeable. The film does not correspond to the stated time of events: people of that time could not afford such colors of clothes (they simply did not exist, these colors were not able to make them, and colored clothes were worn only by kings, because it was very expensive) and such dialogues that were inserted into the film. If it were a modern story, then yes, the dialogue and the clothes would fit into the story. In addition, the film does not reflect its title at all - there is no question of any way of faith there. The film resembles modern soap operas with complete posturing and lack of meaning. Not really. I don’t recommend it to anyone – wasted time.
