Twinkle, Twinkle... The shell does not fall into the same funnel twice. Actually, it really does. Many actors formed duets, and then just rowing money for years, so the audience loved them, and so their joint films were popular. For example, Shah Rukh and Kajol. Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla. The legendary Raj Kapoor and Nargiz. The audience went to their duet. Although they were not always a couple in real life, on the screen they ripped the soul of the audience, and the audience wanted to see them continue together. What do we have here? A joint film by Ajay Devgan and Twinkle Khanna JAAN, which I wrote a review a month earlier, in comparison with this consumer. There - the heat of passions, everything boils-burrill, Ajay in the clips throws Twinkle in a decolleted dress in a snowdrift, he does not cease to beat the face for love - then the bandits, then the police ... and then ... complete disappointment.
The first is a terrible scenario. The picture itself is beautiful, everyone shot against the background of village landscapes, bright, colorful, but the semantic load is zero. It can be summed up in one sentence: girls, don’t be stupid! If you, village smart women, beautiful beauties, are called to your house by a village lord (aka thakur) allegedly for a prestigious job as a maid, in no case do not agree. Get out of there! Because the master, having made fun of the girls, sells them to a brothel, and there is no road from there to his native village. There are not enough heroes to save you. One's already packed. Karanu (that name again, it was fashionable, or something). I would have taken this name as a screen pseudonym, and it is with the end, the son of the faithful servant of Thakura Balvanta (Amrish Puri), was instructed to guide the local beauty Neina to the city house of Thakura. There'd be a thakur playing with it and there would be a beauty on the panel. But Karan took and fell in love with a girl. What a surprise, just think!! What a turn of events!!! And as soon as he found out that Neyna was threatened, he stole the girl from the thakura house, before not forgetting to miraculously survive after a serious fight with the thakura bandits and then drowning him (that is, bysh Karan) in the sea. Thakura is stunned by the fact that the toy for pleasure has been taken from under his nose and is ready to marry Naina just to get her. In turn, Naina is ready to marry, so long as Karana is not beaten and that Karan and Pope Balvant do not quarrel. Karan is ready... fig it will disassemble, what he is ready for, ready for almost an hour of screen time to run with Neina in the woods, the city, warehouses from bandits, fight with these same bandits, something to prove to someone – in particular, his father. I did not see any special feelings behind all this. Ajay Devgan in the first part of the film irritated mercilessly, I do not like him in the role of village fools, and after all, he seemed to me at the beginning in combination with his friend, played by Shakti Kapoor. In general, the cast is almost the same as in previous Devgan films, and the choice of roles for them is identical. Amrish Puri is either an enemy or a father. Aruna Irani is a mother. Shakti Kapur is either a local fool or a villain. Monish Behl is definitely hanging out somewhere else, I just feel sorry for this guy, I should have branded myself with negative roles. The main villain this time played Raj Babbar, the husband of the legendary Smith Patil, if you do not know. She's been dead for a long time, and he's filming everything. And Pratik, they film theirs. At first I didn’t understand him, but now I like him as an actor. My mother's talent probably does.
All I want to say is that the movie is a cliché. Like a stencil. It failed in India. In my eyes, too. Duo - Ajay - Twinkle ordered a long life. By the way, Twinkle in this film looked worse than in “Soul”. She's getting better. Or vice versa, lost weight. She played badly, no peasant girl came out of her. Dance is just so disgusting. I can do that, too. But I'm not in the film industry. Because I understand that if the actress can not dance, it is better not to put numbers with her. At least not folk dancing. About the songs: It's been a long time since I've heard such ugly and boring songs. As a rule, even in the most common film there was one decent song, but here ...
Conclusion: I'm disappointed. The film is passing, and how the work of Ajay Devgan of the second half of the 90s ceased to please me ...
