It's a very black comedy. The trailer may have been pretty eye-catching, but who knew that in general, not the most infamous gore shares screen time with a rather primitive comedy? Moreover, if comedic elements were more accurate and sane, something more could come out, and so on.
The local Undertaker started a business with two guys running a local restaurant: They will kill women! The Undertaker will have someone to bury, and the corpses can be safely put on burgers in a restaurant. And so the three of them ride motorcycles and kill ladies at night, but even a perfect plan leaks.
The Undertaker and His Boys is one of those movies that doesn’t have much to write about because they don’t have much to offer. Stupid comedy in half with rather bloody, but not very frequent creepy elements, and it goes all for only an hour (a big plus, a few extra minutes - and you could write a red review). It seems like nothing clear, but you do not have time to get mad.
The actors play quite lousy, except that Ray Dennis is more or less good as a mannerist Undertaker. Comedy inserts, as already mentioned, are very clumsy and accompanied by characteristic music, which in other scenes does not cause special complaints - the sixties as the sixties. Special effects as such are quite small, but the blood was poured in order. Although in some places they tried to shock an inexperienced viewer (the moment when they show the insides of an open woman).
And... That's the story! The finale, made again in comedic style, more angry than anything else, but more to the overall picture I have nothing to add. It is too short and inconspicuous to leave a long review of it. Just one of the renegades of the new gore wave, moderately gray and imperceptible.
