The 80s of the last century are especially well remembered by a huge number of horror films. The number of films was so large that fans of the genre every year remember, find and digitize dozens of films. But, as a rule, worthy tapes are rarely forgotten and "Strangeness" is no exception.
The beginning of the film is quite cheerful and interesting. After a small earthquake opens the way to a long abandoned mine. This is immediately noticed by the gold mining company and sent a small research team there. The corporation is confident that the mine remained undeveloped gold deposits, but why it was closed no one knows. The most interesting thing about the film is the local legends surrounding the mine. You really start to believe in them. According to one version, terrible events began to occur in the nineteenth century, allegedly then the colonists were killed by Indians hiding in the dungeons. But since the white people did not retreat, the Indians cursed the caves and ever since the curse overtakes all who set foot on a foreign land. The other version is less original; all humans were eaten by an ancient creature that has lived there for thousands of years. Because of such trifles, it seems that somewhere in the American outback there really is such a mysterious place. But all illusions dispel as soon as the heroes descend into the mine. Extremely modest budget immediately catches the eye: cardboard scenery, horribly animated puppet monster, and about the final it is better to keep silent at all. A little enlivens the situation of a young writer who comments on everything that is happening and tells interesting stories. But, alas, for obvious reasons, this does not last long and further we have to observe porridge from incomprehensible and confused actions.
The film could be forgiven a lot if it went 60 minutes, but for some reason it was very delayed, because of which all the minuses begin to be very striking.
