Fight girl! Simple thrash from the shaggy nineties. A girl-fighter in special equipment, crowds of poorly made-up and poorly playing zombies, as well as rampant punks on the streets of the devastated city, along with evil warriors and unhappy, unjustly humiliated scientists, make up the perfect “Grindhouse” cocktail, which is actually poorly and sluggishly prepared!
The plot opens with the arrival of a comet on Earth, carrying a naturally do not understand where the zombie virus comes from! The culprit lands directly in Tokyo, where painfully many scientists have already been waiting for her visit together with the self-defense forces. But despite the firepower, the crowds of blue, as if from the burning vodka of the dead were unshakable! For this reason, the daughter of one of the Japanese generals had to take up the case, having previously changed into a kind of superhero analogue, in fact, everything begins here!
To be honest, the film had every chance to become a very weighty thrash picture, because it had all the necessary components, except that funding failed, and sometimes too sluggish development of events. In some places there are many blunders in the logic of the characters themselves, when zombies eat someone, no one even tries to help, and as soon as one unimportant character is eaten, everyone immediately has a tragedy, how could it happen, you damn zombies! Scenes of reprisals against blue men are also made without much zest, everything is too one-sided, you do not feel the drive of cheerful and invigorating blood inside the veins, from which there is a yawning reflex with all the consequences coming out of it!
But there are also good moments, in any case, the first 15-20 minutes give a hint of something big! A lot of pyrotechnics are involved, and the post-apocalyptic city looks good! The main character with her motivation to find a dad also moves well, almost barely moving the plot! And by the way, the year of release of the film gives him a kind of condescension, from which you do not want to judge this creation too strictly!
Summing up, I want to say that this film is far from disgusting, but alas, it cannot be called a masterpiece. In some places there are bright sides, but they completely pale under the inability to cheer at least the inexperienced viewer, so that I do not regret watching this creation, but without watching it, I would not lose anything, so I will end this, and I will put the film on.
