"Killed by Bill" “Killed Bill” I bought in the store “Coin” for 65 rubles. First of all, it is worth noting that this is not a sequel, not a prequel, and not even a midquel to the movie “Kill Bill”. This is an old Canadian thriller, which is so named to quickly sell. The film is not bad, it is interesting to watch, even pleasant. This is a typical Canadian drive-in filmed in Shivering Color.
The film is colored, sometimes reminiscent of R. Meyer and M. Bava. Artist Bill shoots a girl on the shore and is forced to hide from the city. Meanwhile, Arlene sees off her guests and father, meets Bill and offers him a job. She learns that the hero has serious mental problems and soon becomes his first victim. At the hands of Bill, more and more girls are dying.
The scene where he drags a red grandmother (who eventually survived) is a masterpiece. I was reminded at once of "Immoral Mr. Tees" and "The Peeping One." Apparently, “Killed by Bill” is an author’s film. Eric Santamaria directed it and wrote the script, meaning he did everything the director of Kill Bill did today. Only in the new film the goal : kill, and in the old - the outcome: killed. The Canadian director has a much more modest film. In every sense.
I would call this movie not bad. He's interesting. No one thought it was a masterpiece when they looked at the title. This movie is weird and goes beyond understanding bad movies. Estimated by:
