An experienced vampire chooses Los Angeles as his new home. As if nothing had happened walking around the city in the middle of the day, he finds a cozy house and even manages to invite a group of teenagers to the housewarming celebration. Yes, only the party came and uninvited guests in the form of his former fang girlfriend and a man who considers himself a vampire hunter.
This film was shot by a certain Serge Rodnunsky, with an impressive regularity producing low-grade genre films. And right, we have a typical representative. The film does not carry anything fresh or original, most of the time the characters go back and forth and have inconsequential conversations, and between all this the viewer manages to get tired of monotonous general plans of the city every five minutes.
But what I would like to note from the still positive in the picture is the image of the vampire himself, who appears as an impressive man in the prime of life with a heavy look and a characteristic manner of speech with aspiration. It’s not about acting, but it looked good. That's just his opponent, a vampire hunter, more like a local alcoholic accidentally caught in the frame in search of a hangover and his role in the film does not pull.
In general, “Vampire Blade” is a very bad movie about a bloodsucker. I find it difficult to find a reason why it could be recommended for viewing by anyone.
