The film began to look only from the fact that I read rave reviews and imbued with them, wanting to know what is beautiful in this story. In fact, it would have been better not to start, having missed positive reviews and passing by the absolutely illogical, disgusting film. In the beginning, I wanted to write about an interesting story, but I no longer think it is. Meaningless and merciless, brain-breaking and taking somewhere very far away - that's how he seemed to me. Nothing interesting, incredible and exciting. The Japanese are not far away from those delusional horror films that have recently been so often born. Movies like this never evoked positive feelings, but rather disgust. And not even because of the cruelty — it was never there. If you do not take into account the finale, which was really unpredictable, if I had not seen the review before.
Probably, the film was shot on the basis of: what the plot is, such are the main characters. Disgusting, pathetic, unlike real people, vile and nasty, all four of them. Even those chefs in the final liked the main characters. None of them felt sorry. In fact, they deserved all the punishment and the end of their lives. The actors seem to have followed the same path, hesitant to play so that the viewer at least felt their hero. It’s hard to call it a game because it wasn’t perfect. However, I would like to remind you again that the actors played well. That was not a good thing.

The story consists of an empty room, where four people are tormented by terrible assumptions: three guys and a girl. They didn’t go far from the room, returning to it every time, even though they tried to run away and never come back. If the characters were more normal and disposed towards themselves, perhaps even a pity for such a fate would wake up in me, but the finale did not even shake. The film ended, and I just closed the tab and forgot about it, as if I never watched.

As a result, there was no plot, repulsing the main characters, especially annoyed that young boy, alas, I do not remember his name, since I did not even try to remember. He's a really nasty character. The actors made no effort to play, which made things worse. And although the film did not last long, it managed to cause a sea of negative feelings towards him. Disgusting, in a word, I hope I never see this again.

For the four people locked in a steel box of glittering steel walls, a terrible fear and panic scare become common, strung to the useless question: “What is going on here?”, since it is the mystery of the goal that pushes the team to look for a way out, maintaining the interest of an outside observer trying to predict the meaning of what is happening, estimating the options for a possible outcome.
Having made a riddle, the creators of this picture devote all the time to the process, distracting attention with the reflections of one of the young people, tensely making the ends of his story with the ends of his cellmates’ stories, looking for a common denominator, delaying the correct answer with false conclusions while the director frolics, harassing the languishing viewer, outrageously hiding everything that is possible, well, absolutely everything, leaving inexplicable oddities thrown by a hint that flies past eyes and ears.

There is a moment when the heroes, and we, the audience, should change the question “What is going on here?” with the question “Who are we being held here for?” Catching it, you can calm down or continue to unmistakably insert puzzles, easily explaining all the oddities that occur with the heroes, whose fate is unclear, but clearly predetermined.
While the handsome hero scratches his head, looking into the darkness of someone else’s soul, the tape bends into a maze of escape, which suddenly closes in a circle, as do the thoughts of the main character, who is close to solving who he is and why they are all here and now. And that “why” is the only reason that forces you to watch this ineffectual film to the end.
