Murder. Well, almost. The film is based on real events. The main character is a pathological liar whose profession is to constantly lie to everyone and everything. Maybe even yourself? Suddenly in the life of a successful actor and undercover police officer, along with love bursts a streak of strange failures. What is it? Revenge of competitors or blows of fate? A team of detectives investigates “accidents” and makes an unambiguous conclusion: most likely murder.
This is a short description I once wrote for this film. (I haven’t seen it yet at the time.) Playing the words “definitely” and “most likely” in my opinion, in the end, most accurately describes the events that happened to this person.
Undeservedly buried under tons of all sorts of counts of murders with wide eyes covered, the extravagant, extraordinary, largely sophisticated criminal detective deserves real recognition. In general, a shame on our (okay, on my) film aesthetic heads that we still do not know the true masterpieces of cinema and are more and more fond of “brain chewing” in the presence of such a cinema “healthy person”.
