This film, without exaggeration, opened my eyes to the history of the majestic ancient city of Teotihuacan. For some reason, it always seemed to me that this was the capital of the Aztec civilization that had sunk into the centuries. It turns out that the heyday of this colossal metropolis of antiquity fell on an earlier period. Therefore, in terms of history, you will learn a lot for yourself, especially if you are interested in the topic. Otherwise, you can't call it a metropolis. Just amaze the scale of the city, its main buildings, and the pyramids of the Moon and the Sun personally make an indelible impression on me - no less than the famous pyramids of the Giza plateau. They also talk about its territorial significance.
I liked that this film covers all the important places and buildings of the ancient capital. A variety of camera work allows you to look at the area from a bird's eye view, and visit the remaining buildings. Here are the materials of the latest research of burial chambers inside the pyramids, which, if you do not shrug your soul, you can say, few people know.
Perhaps the main advantage of the film, in addition to the beautiful and interesting angles of shooting, is the interest that it excites. Interest in the described miracles and mysteries of our history. I kept this film not so much for the sake of scientific revelations, of which there are frankly not many, but thanks to rare and high-quality filming of the abandoned city of Teotihuacan with its stunning architecture.
