Love, through the eyes of a teenager... Doremi should watch when you're young and don't know love at all. This is the conclusion I came to when I saw this picture for the second time in my life. The difference between the first and last views is 7 years.
When I watched it as a schoolgirl, I was very impressed. This was my first encounter with South Korean cinema. For the first film made in Korea, it’s a good choice. Because for a teenager, the story of such love, and especially suffering, is very attractive. Not all, but many teens loved falling in love and suffering, being depressed, and “reflecting” on death. Just remember yourself in your 15-17 years.
At the last viewing of the whole film, I did not leave the thoughts: “What kind of children are they?”, “What is kindergarten?”, “How fun it was at school, so few problems ...”. For all 1 hour 45 minutes and did not show how deep feelings were born in the main characters. After all, the plot claims feelings so strong that they can drive a person crazy. But where is that love story? And without finding the answer to the question, you simply do not penetrate the feelings of the main characters, do not take them seriously. She's crying, she's crying, but why? And the main drama of the picture generally seems inappropriate, against the background of the lack of disclosure of the nature of the relationship between a guy and a girl. And by the middle of the film, you start to think of it as a story written by a 15-year-old girl. And this girl herself doesn't know anything about love, only read in books, and saw pink snot in movies. And, of course, she dreams of the same love. In fact, many Korean dramas are all about couples who even kiss ineptly, but still, almost always you can trace when the guy fell in love, and when the girl began to reciprocate. What she/he is suffering from. This is missing here.
This is about the story...
As for the actors. Guys are good. Young Jang Geun-suk (as you can see) was my first Korean love. Oh, that slim and cute boy. I would have seen one at school, I would have eaten it! At the moment, as a famous person in Korea, I do not like him very much. He was completely obliterated (from the word “baba”). But as an actor, I respect him. He plays convincingly and qualitatively. Even his work, The Itavon Murder Case, is a great job, Geun Suk. It's not his fault the script is raw. His lover, popular, but nice guy came out very bright and (what is there) vulnerable. This is probably the first love... vulnerable.
Chha Ye-ryong Outwardly, I don't really like this movie. But she's as good an actress as Geun-suk. Tears shed beautifully and convincingly.
And Chun Yi-chul coped as best as he could, by three, because his character was most revealed according to the script, and he could show the best game. At least he had a story opportunity. In general, as it seemed to me, the character was well spelled out in the script (even better than the main characters), and the actor did not fully implement it on the screen.
Bottom line:
This is a film about teenage love, but only from the point of view of the teenager himself.
At 17, we fall in love forever, we are depressed and maximalist in everything, especially in our “sufferings.”
If you’re a film lover, this movie isn’t for you. But if you want to spend a carefree evening, just turning off your brain, then welcome to the light and bright film “DoreMifaSol LaSiDo”.
Maybe because it’s my first experience in Korean cinema, or maybe it’s not that bad, I’ll tell you what. DoreMifaSol LaSido is not a bad movie. After watching, pleasant feelings remain for a long time. I will not advise you not to watch this work. Only if you suddenly sit down to see, then expect bright young feelings, just believe that this love is strong and eternal, turn off skepticism, then you will enjoy watching. Don’t think too much while you see an innocent love story.

Since the undisclosed plot is a big drawback. But if you just believe their feelings on the screen, the film is very good. Have a good time!
