The windman Kaze no shounen: Ozaki Yutaka Towa no densetsu is a film that touched me to the core. The film is based on the real events of the autobiography of the singer Ozaki Yutaka. The main role in the film was played by Hiroki Narimiya, I think he played excellently. The actor got used to his hero and conveyed those feelings that covered Ozaki Yutaka.
The film tells about the life of a talented guy, about his aspirations, fears and success. When watching you feel the same as the hero, you understand every line in his songs and experience with him. Love. Life. A film about a guy who wanted to live freely. In the works of Ozaki Yutaka, there are songs for almost all situations in life, whether it is romantic moments, periods of sadness or days when you want to change everything. About the short but bright life of the singer and tells this film.
Before watching the film, I only heard one Ozaki Yutaka song, but thanks to the film I got acquainted with the work of the singer. I think the film fulfilled its main task, namely, conveyed to the viewer the feelings that were inside a person who was afraid to grow up, who wanted to write songs and find freedom.
I really liked the movie, I haven’t felt that way in a long time. I advise everyone to look, regardless of whether you know Ozaki Yutaka or not.
