Doll prince without a face A faceless stranger responds to a child's cries for help. He releases the baby from the cage, but he, instead of escaping with his savior, offers a stranger to play a role in a certain “play”. So begins one of the most expressive and memorable CGI films created in recent years. Strange uses his fictional puppet universe as a stage for a real, living drama.
Mad performance style, colorful animation, expressive characters, not shy of their “sins”, memorable, vivid battles, and music. Music is worthy of a separate word. It fits perfectly into the psychedelic setting of the depressed puppet world and is worthy of a separate audition.
Fights with enemies were very spectacular, which is not expected from this kind of animation. Every such meeting here is not just for a tick. She carries something and reveals deeper than the main characters (and there are not one, but three). Your enemies will remember you for a long time, they are so unique.
Puppet psychedelia was a success. However, in his work, Strange raises completely “non-puppet” questions. Finding yourself and your destiny, the ability to make choices and take responsibility for your actions, even the problem of fathers and children did not stand aside, but this is already a spoiler. Most likely, this picture will be met by the fate of Creamer’s works: hatred and misunderstanding on the part of the majority, love and recognition on the part of a few connoisseurs of such “piece” works. And that's a little sad.
