Player and shooter Brett Wade is injured in a shootout and leaves New Mexico for Colorado Springs to heal his wounds. He is pursued by old enemies, and on the way he meets a young girl, for whom he stops in the town of Socorro to try to save her from the curved path.
The main character looks a lot like the notorious Doc Holliday. Also a gambler and a shooter who coughs because of an old wound. And the beginning of the film is very similar to the famous shootout of O. K. Coralle. But the story goes a different way.
Rory Calhoun is good as a gentleman shooter, young and attractive Piper Laurie. Successfully played images of the second plan. Edgar Bakanen as Sheriff. David Bryan, casino owner and main antagonist. Alex Nicole, gunfighter Jimmy Rapp, seeking revenge on Wade.
The action does not sag, good acting of actors. Beautifully shot the scene of a poker game, where the bet is the heroine of Piper Lori. Brett Wade plays Moonlight Sonata at his own funeral. A normal Western!
