Twisted nightmare So here's a forgotten slasher from the '80s, shot on his lap and obviously on a small budget, but in this case it's cheap and angry. Purely its slasher task, the film performs wonderfully, but is not without minuses.
The plot is simple, a group of friends arrives at an old summer camp, where they have vacationed before, which already looks more like some farm with a strange guard, a local mad Ralph. A few years ago, there was another man with them, the inferior brother of the main character, who somehow incomprehensibly burned down in the barn. It’s just not explained, no one set fire to the barn, it just flashed a red light at first, and a second later we see a burning man running out of there. But let's say it's a real Indian curse. And so, upon the arrival of the heroes, something between man and animal begins to kill them. The image of the creature turned out to be excellent, even on such a small budget, the sounds emitted by him also inspire, so that the villain's score. Keep looking.
Murders are done well, qualitatively, in this part of the hack there is no, the methods of killing originality do not shine, but look definitely good, especially since the blood was not spared.
The nude, there is a lot of it, I will not say for sure, but about 5 times, if not more, the scenes are shot aesthetically, especially in the bath, it was nice to watch, reminded the scene from the Jacuzzi from Mad Man, but there is a small one to this part, although there is no way to see how much this is a minus for you, there is no idea why the inserted selfharm scene, one thought, just: “Why....” It doesn't explain itself, so viewers will wonder what it is, a sacrifice to Satan? How do you hurt yourself? These questions will remain unanswered.
The killer's motivation and his transformation raise questions, like, ran away, self-ignited, and after so many years, takes revenge on the people who were with him, what were they supposed to do, not let go into the barn? It's very strange, as well as why he turned man into a beast with fangs, hair and other things after burns? Is that an Indian curse? What the hell is this curse and how does it work? Do people hear or see ghosts or something? Again, these questions will not be answered.
But if you score on logic and turn off the brain during viewing, then you can quite enjoy it, because the film performs its main tasks, entertains, and sharply cuts stupid people into pieces after they undress. And by the way, filmed in the same place as the third part of “Friday”, and in general, it turned out just the level of the third Friday, well, but not without minuses. I give a high rating after the above minuses for the fact that during the viewing I did not look at the clock, but had quite a fun time.
