Amazingly modern film! The impressive work of Noah Galkin and other filmmakers is visible from the first frames: this is a large-scale shooting in the building, the interiors of which can compete with existing coworkings, and extras, and expressive faces of visitors to the office!
The portrait of the head of the enterprise is very clearly drawn: judging by the skillfully mounted video series, all the achievements of cinema of that time were used.
With the dynamic life of the office contrast cozy everyday life with his wife and daughter at home: but here the main character is restless, not good. He can't relax.
The reception of a doctor changes everything: before the viewer there is almost modern infographics, videos similar to a popular science film about perception, hearing, brain work, etc.
Shooting in the sanatorium above all praise: the film can judge how rampant was the passion for sports in those years. It was considered fashionable and prestigious to have a healthy, trained body, to be fit and active!
Stunning emotionally saturated footage with gymnasts, skiers, high jumpers, with people on the springboard, on the canoe. A good dozen sports are presented. Special attention should be paid to the costumes of gymnasts, synchronously performing figures.
Absolutely amazing is the stadium, where they filmed mass scenes with vacationers: incredible expanses!
The finale is delighted, although the film is not preserved in full. Very interesting work!
p.s. Judging by the biography of Noah Galkin, he became famous as a director of educational and popular science medical films, before "Sick Nerves" made a movie about underground abortion. He also practiced as a physician-therapist, which allowed him to approach the coverage of medical topics in films with such knowledge.
