Nest bloodsucker — review on horror"Bloodlust" A group of young people agree to take part in a medical experiment after spending exactly a month in a small old castle in order to receive a reward of $ 20 thousand for everyone. The rules are tough, the conditions are not pleasant, and most importantly it will be difficult to get out of where no one has yet escaped alive.
Production of the company "24-25 films". The film was directed and written by Richard Johnstone, for whom it is a full-length debut. Producer Steve O'Brien also acted as a cameraman (in a duet with Melissa Byers).
Not very attractive, but not extremely disgusting vampire "bug" originally from the British Isles. The poorness of the production is striking, the budget is nevertheless spent competently. Only “silicony” Victoria Hopkins ("Got!), “Zombie Women of Satan” will be able to undress, and then immediately she will cover her nipples with a towel. Operators, of which two pieces at once, “tug the blanket” each on himself, so do not be surprised by the sometimes clumsy work of the camera. The acting game is unconvincing in its incomprehensibility: faded, amorphous torsoes. Actress Jodie Anderson (Julie) looks like another attractive Englishwoman - Laura Haddock. The first fifty minutes, little happens in terms of horror, although the action is not boring, as many especially boring users of various trackers write, but in the last thirty minutes it will accelerate at the speed of Sebastian Vettel’s car. Timekeeping is not stretched. What here exactly can not be reproached, so it is to the artists on makeup (incomparable), because the “children of the night” look just great, catching up with a portion of creepy. The main vampire her face looks like Rada from the cult "Subspecies" of Ted Nikolau. Violence is not fully present, as we would like: the "fangs" fall to the victim and through competent editing begin to suck blood from the wound, which (wound) is carefully hidden from prying eyes; the knife is repeatedly stuck in the back. By the way, the same knife computer way more than once "test" the edges of the flesh. The musical theme consists of a pile of loud sonic booms, except for the final soundtrack - damn good.
My appreciation comes from the fact that I miss vampire horror stories a lot. Fans of the genre lament that, they say, few films about werewolves, about vampires I can say the same. About modern - first of all. To watch or not to decide you, in any case I spent the time usefully, not yawning and not looking at the clock.
