Bitch! You broke my ankle! Do you want me to give you the medallion?
Fuck you! I will sell it and spend money on treatment.
It is beyond good taste, but nevertheless a funny thrash by underground director Bill Zebab, a former rock columnist and creator of several documentaries about rock music. I remember him also for the talentless film “Crucified”, very tedious because of its pathos and poor-quality cinematography. Here, however, too, professionalism is not enough, but there is humor and a superachine plot, to invent which on a sober head is simply impossible. The very name, which I even hesitate to translate, is a provocation and an insult to the feelings of believers, and the picture itself mocks the holy things of Christianity, and therefore viewing is categorically contraindicated for believers. Surprisingly, this film (along with "Crucifixed") was honored to receive a translation into Russian, so it will be able to watch and those who do not know English. Also here plays Ruby LaRocca, a former actress of erotic cinema, who is now actively starring in thrash (President’s Day, Pig Cut, Zombie Babies). If Hardiman could not (or did not want) to expose the actress to the maximum, then Zebab LaRocca shows his tattooed body in all its glory. There are plenty of naked women here!
The demonic zombie, who was once (even shy to say who), is now a dangerous killer, hunting for female flesh, and bread and wine are sure to remain at the crime scenes. And in order to heal the wounds, he needs Holy Communion, which the zombies are looking for not in the church, but in the...hmm... a believing girl.
Even this little knowledge of what is happening is enough to understand that this is the most thrashing thrash of recent years, where blasphemy, eroticism, violence, the main negative character create a truly explosive cocktail. Moreover, it is not boring to look at what is happening, since there are no images understandable only to the director, incredible pathos, rubber action, so you risk falling asleep before the character concludes a pseudophilosophical monologue. On the screen, something is constantly happening, and the director does not care how stupid and blasphemous it may look, so it seems that he deliberately thickens the colors, forcing zombies to quote sacred texts, performing inappropriate actions with a chicken leg, or even with his hand. However, the plot brought to the utter absurdity does not cause disgust. On the contrary, I want to pretend to be a fool and a cynic and find out what will happen next. It is especially noticeable that Zebab did not want to offend anyone at all, but simply removes the utter stupidity, as if writing on the go, arrogant on forbidden topics even for thrash. And he was followed by another blasphemous thrash “Bloody Bible Camp”, where absolutely every frame is stupid, but filmed cheerfully and without claims.
Such films, if you start watching, then with the realization that it is garbage (trash), raised to the rank of art, where the laws of ordinary cinema do not apply. Quite the contrary, if the director manages to shoot the stupidest plot is fun, then this is the best praise for thrash, because thrash is removed for fun. He, like Parsley, ridicules everything that is dear to normal people, goes beyond all bounds, does not recognize prohibitions, but not at all for the sake of provocations, but for the same reason why jesters mocked gentlemen, and parodied church services at carnivals. Our life, with many conventions, rules, etc., just forces us to come up with an alternative reality, where the bottom is the top, and the bad is the good. It's like children's play parodying the overly complex world of adults. And maybe that's why thrash is loved by so many people that there are no conventions even in film art. Yes, thrash is not quite a movie, but a kind of forbidden zone in cinema, where it is better not to go without a guide. There are jesters and balagurs there, so that Satan himself is envious of such fun in hell. And, probably, there is no better characteristic of thrash than the long-standing film Lars von Trier “Idiots”. If you understand what this movie is about and why we are shown some fools for an hour and a half, then you will not get lost in the winding world of thrash cinema and you will not be offended by its harmless absolutely non-intelligent humor.
It is very difficult to evaluate this film (as well as any other work of thrashing), because from the point of view of cinematic art it is obvious garbage, the value of which is no more than that of a fantasy in a dumpster. However, how not to positively evaluate a mega-stupid film, in which there is not a single scene digestible for the average viewer! Everything here is bad, but paradoxically good. The main thing is that in this world it is not even a sin to laugh at holiness, and for the fun that this original in its stupidity film brought me, I cannot give a bad assessment. I'm so sorry.
