Static dreams A young and complex guy named Harris spends his leisure watching movies in a night theater with his mother. The deep psychological trauma inflicted on Haris as a child does not allow him to fully communicate freely in society, and his mother is very jealous of him. Fascinated by one single dream to make his film in the future, the main character writes his own script. His fleeting confidence is reinforced by his acquaintance with a sweet and pleasant girl named Heather. However, an inseparable thread, and stretches rather bloody murders, the victims of which are visitors to the favorite cinema of Haris. Detectives throughout the investigation, gradually find a lot of coincidences leading to a young screenwriter. And therefore, the not too fragile psyche of the latter gives a specific failure.
Despite the frankly small budget (which has never been a huge drawback for me), director and screenwriter Jason Rutherford certainly has good potential. This film uses very good dramatic and detective inclusions, and a very good sound. However, as is often the case, implementation failed. Some scenes were frankly drawn out, also incomprehensible, a weighty emphasis on rather vile scenes. If I praised the fact that the horror film was diluted with inserts from other genres of cinema, but the addition of mysticism seemed to me clearly superfluous. If the climax of the main plot I had, to my taste, the final ending is completely incompetent and idiotic.
The 2017 film called Shhsh is not the worst example of a cheap slasher with a good plot and the right atmosphere. But the implementation of the plan was far from ideal.
