Under siege. A team of crazy mercenaries, consisting of 4 people, leads a stripper from under the nose of a gang of thugs, for which they promise a hefty fee. However, the boss of thugs, this dancer, for some reason desperately needs urgently, so he immediately sends his henchmen, after the mercenaries.
Director Christian Sesma, already before this film managed to release under his leadership, several similar action films. And therefore to make a hand, having established himself as a master of inexpensive, and sometimes in something imitative fighters. The ears of his new work grow out of the same rubbish, strictly adhering to the rule - cheaply and if possible, in moderation oar. It is too early to talk about some progress, his directorial abilities, since this movie, like the rest of Sesma's films, came out fussy, with a bunch of blunders, a leaky plot and banal for him, boring characters. It seems that the guy did not plan to remove, no matter what financial opportunities he had and no matter what potential his project had, all the bright prospects pass by him. Because the poor fellow stubbornly continues to step on the same rake, again and again.
If you want to find fault in this picture, you can do anything. Just point at random into something with your finger and there will be a heap of inconsistencies, or any other shortcomings that catch your eye. But the main failure here is undoubtedly a script that seems to have been written in a hurry, although it is unclear for what reasons. Maybe there was some schedule from which the authors did not get weakly out, and maybe there is something else. Which, however, is unlikely, most likely, the creators knew their place and in order not to overwork, decided that it would work. But the fact remains that on the output we received a thrash action movie, the plot of which can be retold in two words.
Moving from the weaknesses of the film to more or less average indicators, I want to note that despite being faithful to his indistinct skills, this time Christian Cesma managed to make an action, a little more lively. What brought to this story is a kind of drive, so in moments of dialogue, the nonsense coming from the characters does not cut the ear so much. And in general, the video of this picture was successful. It turned out, a kind of motley action with rottenness in the plot, but in bright colors. Especially this moment pleases in the scenes with shootings, of which there are, by the way, plenty. But what use, if they are in memory, do not linger for long.
As for the actors, we can say that in this regard, everything is not as sad as it could be. Brutal Luke Goss and sexy Honour Ballesteros act as the main violins, Buquem Woodbine, Christine Nguyen, Jacqueline Lord, as well as Jason Mews and Danny Trejo are very, very colorful, look in their roles on the singers. Once again, I draw your attention to the fact that I did not accidentally write WATCH, since there is no need to talk about any game. However, this is not their fault, this is the material itself, which disposes not to self-expression, but to self-admiration.
In the history of cinema and the memory of the audience, this picture is doomed to remain forever as an average thrash fighter with a couple of cute episodes in reserve and a good casting. Well, this is not the worst fate! And given the ending that remains unclosed, who knows, maybe someday we will see a sequel, in which we hope all the mistakes of this story will be taken into account. And let them not forget to clarify the fate of the character Jason Mewes, lost without a trace in one of the shootouts, halfway to the final. Then maybe we’ll revisit this crazy movie again.
