Trails of glory The next part of the saga of Bobby Manila about schoolgirls continued the good tradition established a few years ago, to ridicule the modern bureaucratic apparatus through such a simple (as it may seem) genre. I deliberately singled out the word “corrupt” because it can be interpreted in completely different ways than the message that this creation carries.
Should we assume that this story tells us only about spoiled girls? Maybe. But the young age of the heroines unwittingly makes us condescending in this regard. What is youth if not a time of error? Let us put the question differently: have the girls become more spoiled (=weak performing skills) in comparison with the previous parts? Unfortunately, yes. I vividly remember the beautiful 2012, when the charming Zoe Kash tried to persuade her teacher. You did it! That was fun. The current generation of schoolgirls, alas, does not reach its predecessors.
Let’s continue to penetrate the etymology of the word “corrupt”. And this is where Bobby Manila reveals itself in all its glory. I’m not afraid to say that his whole saga is made in the best traditions of Stanley Kubrick, who just as skillfully made the audience laugh at not the most funny things. And is it possible to consider hyperbole the extreme stupidity of the teachers shown in the film, if it is necessary for young students to spread textbooks on the table before them, as they immediately forget about their direct obligations and put personal interests before themselves on their knees? Is this the true school of life? After all, our beauties from an early age learn the basics of life in the modern world, which has long fallen morally.
The director asks pressing questions, but everyone must find the answers for themselves. And the depth of the plot, definitely, closes the gaps in the film, caused at times by weak acting, average editing level and absolute lack of soundtrack, although this is the problem of the entire genre.
Corrupt schoolgirls 6 will not be the discovery of the year, but will continue the glorious business started a few years ago.
